TIPS AND TRICKS FOR POCKET TANKS

Bouncy Dirt and Fission Bomb combo
After covering one side of the interior of a large crater with Bouncy Dirt and hit the tank with a Fission Bomb while it is at the bottom of the hole.
    Pile Driver and Hailstorm combo
Attack the tank with a Pile Driver followed by a Hailstorm (or Napalm).
    Ground Shocker and Popcorn combo
Use Ground Shocker directly below your opponent's tank to make the ground very rough. Now attack with a Popcorn nearby and the bullets will bounce and multiply.
    Hide underground
Attack a Digger at a steep angle so your tank slides down into the ground. You can use a dirt weapon to seal yourself in, if you so choose.
    Easy Points
Go under options and set the terrain to flats. When you start a game, point the cursor on the word move, and use the scroll wheel on your mouse to move your tank so that it is partly covering the other tank. Use pin cushion, spider, pineapple, or lightning strike; aim it at the other tanks body with 100% power, and fire. You can get over 600 points in 1 shot with this cheat if you do it right. I have gotten 1659 points in 3 turns with this technique. Pin cushion seems to work the best, but the other ones work too.

Bouncy Fission Attack - Take advantage of an opponent that's inside
of a large crater by coating one side of the hole with Bouncy Dirt, then
hitting the tank directly with a Fission Bomb. You can expect 120-200+
points for a good shot. It works best if the tank is at the bottom of a
hole with smooth edges. Mountain Movers and Crater Makers throw the tank
the least, so they are recommended for optimal setup. [Deluxe version weapons]

Carpet Bomb Line-of-Sight - The Carpet Bomb is designed to cover
large areas from a distance. But if a tank is in your sights, turn the
power up to 100 and hit it straight on. Welch recommends Blast Off to send
your tank to the other side of the mountain. The maximum damage output
from the Carpet Bomb is 110 points. [Ambush Pack weapons]

Bouncy Wall Backstop - When your opponent is very close to a steep
hill and you can't seem to hit them, consider putting a Bouncy Wall right
behind them and ricocheting bullets off it. Depending on how far away they
are, certain spread weapons like the Minigun or Buckshot can be effective
at landing a lucky shot. [Ambush Pack weapons]

New to Forums.. Tip with Fireworks

Firstly, I don't know if this is a glitch.
And no, it's not a proximity glitch... so here goes.

Have you ever tried to fire fission bomb right between the tank's main body and the barrel, or if the tank is suspended on a speck of suspended soil.. right below it? Well, it's a disappointment cuz the "fissioning" particles have not "fissioned" yet, so you only get teeny points.

Well, it works using fireworks. Apparently, The 5 or so missiles that shoot up towards the sky are not one separate missile that burst into millions of fragments, but rather a bundle of that million fragments! So when one of those missile hits the opponent's tank while shooting up, all those fragments hit at once, delivering massive damage. I remember getting around 400... without all the missiles hitting the tank.

I usually try to do this trick when the opponent's barrel stays at a 60 degree angle... guess it's easiest position to get the shot in between the tank and the barrel.

It's not a bug, just as the proximity "bugs" aren't bugs. (Just Mike being lazy with his weapons.)
                  The maximum is 600.

He's not being lazy. It's just better the way it is so, he leaves it.
                    Or he's just lazy. I don't know.

I like it the way it is, though. A little something extra.

also, using sonic blast in the angle Tristanern said, but with the tank slanted to be a accute angle and fire it in there and get both sides to hit the enemy.
using a bouncey wall or the like perpandicular to the ground, if a sonic blast hits it enough and detonates, both waves will go away from the dirt

Oh, come on. It's more helpful than "NECROPOST!!1" and that's what would have been posted otherwise.
