    First I want to say is my friend and I love this game.

    With that being said my few ideas are..

    1) Shields of of many types (as mentioned before)
    2) Walls and ceiling have different types
    • Bouncy
    • solid
    • wrap around to the otherside so shots continue (ex. shot hits the right side and continues on the left)

    3) Different modes
    • list of 20-30 random weapons, each person takes turn banning 1 weapon till 5-10 weapons are banned then they take turns picking weapons. when a weapon is picked it cannot be picked again.
    • random weapons, this will replace the quick pick so the weapon select screen is no longer needed for it
    • any other ideas as well

    4) allow the custom options to work in multiplayer (explosion size, wind and other things)
    5) Add a ingame currency system. perhaps your score is add to your currency at the end of the round.
    • add tanks that have different stats (min-max power, min-max angle, +/- max moves or move distance & damage reduction
    • allow the weapon packs to be purchased with the ingame currency after a wile of being paid only



    With all that said the game is still great as is but it never hurts to try to make it better!

      I like the wrap-around idea. Seems like most people I play run to the side of the screen right off. It would help so you could shoot the other way at them!.....

        I will say again that the online feature has totally revitalized the game for me. I think this can be a game I play for a long time, and it could spread into a much bigger phenomenon worldwide. Already, my 5-year-old son is into the game. I let him press the FIRE button for me, lol. But I think there are a couple of changes required to keep this game interesting long-term.

        I am finding online that the game can be played on a much higher level, because people are so skilled at it. As in all games or sports that are played at a high level, little things become big things. There are a couple of areas I would like to see improved upon: If you have two players who are really good Ė who donít miss, and who know how to use their weapons - the one who has superior weapons has a major advantage. So is the one who shoots first. SoÖ

        Iíd like to see the first shot randomized, instead of having the player who receives the invitation always get the first shot.

        More importantly, there must be some way to even out the weapon selection process. With 295 weapons to choose from, there are some games where it feels like Iím playing chess with 16 pawns against a guy with 3 Queens.

        I donít have any great ideas to fix this, but maybe someone else does. I guess the simplest thing would be to expand the choices from 20 to something else. Perhaps a set percentage of available weapons, say 10%. So that would be 29 weapons to choose from if you have 295 weapons installed. That way, we have a little better selection. And if we are playing against someone with only 100 weapons installed, they would get only 10 weapons to choose from. It is unfair that someone with 100 weapons has 20 to choose from, or 20% of his full arsenal, while us who have bought all the packs have a smaller percentage of our arsenal to choose from. This creates some mismatches, and does not inspire people to buy more packs.

        Or maybe there are better ideas? I just hope there is something that can be done.

          I love this game!

          Here are some of my ideas (I've seen a few of these in older posts as well, but just want to "second" these suggestions):

          Movement: I'd like more movement, though with smaller increments. Say if we had ten movements of the current length (instead of four), but split these into 1/5 the length. This would give us 50 small moves in a game.

          Movement: It would be nice to be able to use movement in the "aftermath" of a turn. For example, I'm under a "great wall" and cannot move. I use my turn to blast away at the wall with something like a Crater Maker (doing damage to myself), but it doesn't totally remove the wall. The way it is now, what's left of the wall slowly falls down right back on top of me before it switches to the other player's turn. It would be nice at this point to be able to Move myself out from under the wall while it is falling.

          Final Screen/Scoring: I'd like to suggest displaying a "point spread" on the final screen, in addition to the actual scores.

          Scoring History: It'd be great to have a history - scores, point spread, etc. - of the last 25 (or some other number) games for each "type" of game; i.e. results of the last 25 wifi games, the last 25 two player games, etc. For one player games, list the difficulty as well.

          Target Practice: Sometimes I want to do Target Practice with a particular terrain. I'll enter/leave Target Practice until I get the kind of terrain I want to work with. After several turns in Target Practice, the terrain gets disfigured from all the fun blasting. I'd like a "reset" button to restore the terrain/tanks to their initial positions.

          Target Practice: Choose Side. When entering Target Practice, I'd like to be able to choose whether I want to be the tank on the right or the tank on the left.

          More Weapons Packs: Just what it says (I've purchased all available packs)

            I have "only" 135 weapons and its really necessarry when I am in target practise mode to find specific weapon. I can imagine those with more than 200 weapons.

            Great idea for Target Practice! I have purchased all the packs and having the weapons sorted alphabetically for Target Practice would really, really help.

                Some people like playing with all 295 weapons. Some not. In my opinion, playing with 30 to 50 weapons is the ultimate equalizer, because that way your fate isn't decided by the luck of the draw. Nonetheless, some players insist that games be played with all 295 weapons checked. Nothing wrong with that. That said, why not have the option of creating "weapons playlists?" That way you can start a match with someone who will only play with all weapons, and not have to waste time checking and unchecking stuff to play other people who prefer playing with selected weapons only. You would have saved, pre-checked lists ready for indexing to a given match. There could be a separate window on the weapons screen with all of your saved playlists, with whatever name you've assigned to them for certain players/matches. I think this would be an excellent add on.

                  My GF and I have been playing for about 6 months. We only lasted a few days on free before upgrading and purchasing every weapon pack as to annihilate each other. Here are some things we've noticed are missing from pocket tanks (we play on android)....
                  • Weapon Selection should work so that if the weapon is unchecked, it's never presented as an option to me.
                  • There should be a chat interface of some sort, even with pre-programmed sentences so that there is some communication capability.
                  • We'd like to be able to play custom amount of volleys. 10 Isn't enough, we should be able to set it to as many as we like.
                  • A 'nudge' feature so that you can nudge an opponent (they get a push notification) when they haven't played their turn.
                  • When starting a game you shouldn't have to wait until player one has fired to be able to choose your weapons.
                  • Between turns you should be able to check your weapon inventory so you can plan your next shot while you wait.
                  • Need to be able to rive more than 4 moves. 8 - 10 would be nice.
                  • Ability to 'fast forward' your current shots animation when it's happening, not just in the replay
                  • A user ranking system based on various stats that are displayed to the user such as total score in lifetime, total wins, total losses.
                  • I would like to be able to see lifetime wins and losses against the player I'm playing with so we know who is better (rank system helps that)
                  • Some kind of tournament mode would be great.
                  • Customizable terrain ie: Mountainous/flat/hills etc. select the type you want and it randomly generates it.
                  • Tanks username should create a blitwise tanks forum account of the same name. We could easily find those who we play with, arrange tournaments etc.

                    On the weapons window, a prompt msg could appear that tells each player how many weapons their opponent is using.

                      I joined the forums to input my idea of
                      Player stats (wins to losses, accuracy, etc)
                      Player skill level based on stats,
                      Basic chat capabilities (maybe a small line per volley so we can lol at each terrible shot or something)
                      And multiple players per map (I.e 2v2)
                      But I see most of these have already been suggested so I'll just say I second those ideas!

                        I am sending this mail as a request and a suggestion as a big fan of ur product
                        POCKET TANKS and my request is that you plz launch pocket tanks as Facebook App so that we can play with our friends and anyone around the world , just like some common apps like snooker and poker and all

                        i think it would be profitable for you guys too if more ppl can easily access your game not just by downloading it and playing it 2 at a time but playing it with ppl around the world with a chatbox for friends and also public chatbox and option to invite and add new friends to play with
                        sorry for my english but i was looking at various games on fb and with same above services and i really felt sad that one of our most anticipated and loved games POCKET TANKS was not in it
                        and i messaged you as there r many like me who would be delighted to get it on FB and as an FB application

                          Here are some things that need changing IMO:

                          1. Flash freeze is a pretty powerful weapon easily capable of doing over 100 damage plus it bounce once or twice, yet when auto-picking, the system seems to think that it is very low on the totem pole, this should be fixed.
                          2. Lava is way to powerful. I know that all weapons are not born equal, however Lava just kills any sort of game balance in Pocket Tanks. In a funnel it's capable of doing upwards of 400 damage which is just ridiculous!
                          3. Most of all, and this would make me sooooo incredibly happy if you could add this. I think about how awesome it would be like every time I play, and It would really make Pocket Tanks complete for me: If you could save certain sets of enabled weapons. So currently you can disable many weapons, however you can't easily change from one set of selected weapons to another. If you could save sets and switch from one to another It would my the game complete. So I could have a set for lots of damage, a set for all of the weapons including lemon if I'm feeling in the mood, and also an extra set or two for if I want to test different battle strategies. ie I want to test out only enabling dirtballs, etc. and weapons that shoot through the terrain like gamma blaster. 5 savable slots would be enough. Or if you make more I'd be even more happy. Please add this and I will be so happy!!!!!!! Thanks.

                            I also would appreciate a chat & stats feature.

                            Too many opponents play till the 5th-9th round then many whine and/or Forfeit. I think changing the term "Forfeit" to Surrender or I'm lame, Ha. Would possibly lower the overall amount of quitters. The
                            term forfeit, even though it is proper, doesn't convey the "I am quitting, I can't win, I lost" idea.

                              I don't know if you are aware of it, but there is a glitch in where YOU can choose who goes first.

                                Something needs to be done about the stacking. Either get rid of it or separate it into two groups. I'm tired of wasting my time with people hurling dirt and firing torpedoes at me. It's not strategy, it's laziness.
