This is the Official Game Mod Thread

In here Me, and others who wish to, will make and upload the mods. Once i get the crack of PT on this computer im gunna make my first mod.

Introduction;

A mod, or Modification is a file(s) used to replace another file(s) to change the game's appearance. There are also mods for more flexible games such as Oblivion, that allow completly new aspects.

How do i make a mod? Well, you go into the photoshop directory, and go to the weapon you wish to mod, my first one will be grenade. (chaos for the record) You go into the folder with the pack named of the weapon's pack. So if i wanted to take a weapon from the Ambush pack, i would open the AM folder. I'm not sure which one Chaos Grenade is in, since i don't have pt installed right now. Then you look at the weapon sprites. For Grenade, there are a binch of images of a grenade in motion (turning) if you put them together. What i'll be doing is making it so that it will be red, instead of green. This is where photoshop comes in. You use Ctr-U (hue saturation) and find the exact amount that turns the colored part to red. (make sure the green part is cricled using the wand or laso. Next you memorize the number, let's use -23 for an example. Now you open all the images of the grenade, and set the hue to -23. Save them all so that they overrite the old ones. (make sure you have a backup of PT somewhere, as not to screw everything up.) And VIOLA! Also, if you are making a mod for Lightening pole or whatever, change the lightening image, that will make some tastier effects!

Open the fily and copy all the images into you ch folder in pocket tanks directory. Click yes to overrite, but like i said, if you don't like it or are afraid you won't make a backup of your pt folder.

Next mod, The missle mod! Extremely nice, the screenshot doesn't show much, since it's hard to get a nice angle, but you gotta try it, oh and complete with icon this time also.

Copy the files into C/D:\Program Files\Pocket Tanks Deluxe\weapdata
There is no specific weapon folder, since this is a demo included weapon...

Oh, and the installer should be pointed to X:\Program Files\Pocket Tanks Deluxe, NOT your weapdata folder.

Hmm, maybe my mistake, but i copied that from my directory, well oh well, maybe it's an update, but yeah i would gladly hire you to make the files Installation files and upload em for me Can ya do that for the rest of the mods i make?
