Weapons Suggestions Thread. Started 12-21 *CLOSED*

Okay, welcome once again to the official weapons suggestion thread. I'll be announcing some of Mike's favorite weapons, ideas, and names from the last thread in a few days. One note, because of a few suggestions last time...keep it clean. This is a family game.

Greetings and salutations. Let’s get this rolling.

Mike enjoyed a number of Zwaken’s ideas, including the effect described in Sun Shot, Rapid Fire, Double Hit, Explosion Laser, Dust Balls, Foxhole, and Luck

Zone101 also had some suggestions marked up, including Auto-Aim, Slinky, and Arrows, as well as a host of weapon names.

Yiuo was tapped for the effect behind Bunker Buster, and Shooting Star as well.

Liquid Dirt by Revived??? was also included as an interesting effect.

Everlast had a few as well, including Flaming Marshmallows, Smoke Screen, and Power Shot.

Skix deserves praise for his Micro Bunker and Plutonium. Apparently Mike doesn’t want to piss off Chuck Norris by making a weapon that is insufficiently Chucktastic.

Mike apparently also found some inspiration in Xap’s Air Bomber.

Also intriguing was the suggestion by Teddyboy09 of Fire Wheel.

Finally deserving of mention is Zantetzuken’s Sand Blast.

Thank you all for contributing your ideas, time, and thirst for more weapons. If you didn’t make the list of notables this month, keep trying! I’ll try to keep this thread to a more manageable length this time.

First reply! Great we get to see who has some good ideas for the future.

Grappling Hook: Shoots a bullet then pulls you to where it landed does 25 damage if it hits something.

Shield; Very simple, protects from one attack.

Hurricane - Like "Laser Battery" (not "Laser Strike") but has "Hail Storms" and debris in it. Debris maybe like "Rockslides" (but with no damage) or like "Volcano" debris. ...yes you would have to weaken it a bit.

Frag Grenade - Makes an explosion about the size of a "Single Shot" and shoots out fragmentations affected by gravity (so its sorta like "Porcupine" in a way). It doesn't necessarily explode when it gets close, but has a 4 second timer.
Should do some pretty good damage because it has a timer instead of proximity explosion.

Flash-Bang Grenade Similar to "Single Shot" but has a flash like "Flash Blast" that screws up power and angle.

Tell me what you think of these.

Hurricane I like, Frag Grenade sounds a bit like pillow fight and Flash Band Grenade is my favorite out of those 3.

The Hurricane name has been taken, but I don't think the idea has.

Flash-Bang Grenade sounds cool. It's my favorite of those three.

Yeah, I think that Flash Bang Grenade sounds cool too.

I know lots of people have posted this idea, but I would REALLY like to see a weapon that coats the whole terrain in bouncy dirt. A cool idea would be that bouncy bombs rain from the sky every few paces, coating the whole ground in bouncy, damaging tanks, and making a jagged wavy terrain of bouncy.

Hornets Nest: Like Bee Hive but deals more damage.

Falling Stars: Where ever the shot lands 4 stars come in from random directions and hit that spot. Does 10 damage per star.


I like the grenade ideas. But I like Frag Grenade better.

Shield; Very simple, protects from one attack.

Great idea. It can be useful if you are coated in dirt, thereby granting you a turn to spare, with your opponent having to waste one of his or her weapons...

Cobwebs-Shoots 30 of dust particles that make grey dirt. each one gets 2 points.

Energy-A shot that explodes onces it gets as close as chaos grenade gets when it explodes. 10 small rollers come out of the shot and get 10 points each.
