well, i don't ahev mac...but i believe that it still creates the .cfg file. where it is, i have no clue (remember, this is all hypothetical), but if it existed, it would probably be SOMEWHERE. simply search for it, open it, edit "networkIPsupport = 0" to networkIPsupport = 1", save and close the file.
however, also try looking into hamachi as a way of playing over the web.

Search your Macintosh HD for a file called "pt.cfg"
Then you can edit that file with TextEdit, and add in the secret config info to unlock IP to IP just like on Windows.
The search program on the most recent version of OS X is called Spotlight.
I hope that helps.

Okay, so the pt.cfg file exists under:
/<User>/Library/Application Support/Pocket Tanks (Deluxe)/pt.cfg
Open the file in TextEdit, and the rest is the same.
You will need to use Terminal for Hamachi (if you will be using that). Or use can use HamachiX which adds a GUI to it.
I'm hoping to make a few Automator apps to help configure the file, use Hamachi, etc
You can get to your User folder (Home) by pressing either Cmd+N (new window) in finder, or Shift+Cmd+H
