Default Need Pocket Tanks Technical Help
Before I ask Blitwise, I want to see if you guys will help me.

I have had a problem for the last few days-my pocket tanks (deluxe) will not start, it crashes. This hasnt happened before, and its only the deluxe that is effected. I tried reinstalling, but no luck. My beta-test is the other version I have-1.2 (Not 1.3) is my deluxe version. I have all the free packs installed, but I recently took off nano to see if that would help, but still no luck.

It must be your computer. Either your hardware is not up to par with the game (which is highly unlikely, because you have Vista), the game is not exactly compatible with Vista or something that handles the playing of PTanks is corrupted.

Compare that XP to this XP:

In particular, look at the buttons and start menu.

I have XP pro and it looks like Rex Nex's desktop. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but you might try doing a system restore to a date before the error started happening. You will be given the option of making a new restore point before reverting to an older version, and I would advise you do it. Per XP help: "You can use System Restore to undo harmful changes to your computer and restore its settings and performance. System restore returns your computer to an earlier time (called a restore point) without causing you to lose recent work, such as save documents, e-mail, or history and favorites list." To find System Restore, go to Start, Help and support, choose "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore " under the Pick a Task label.
