Heh... Kind of a funny idea. I personally liked the idea. How about Blitwise's version of Lemmings? For expandability, there could more levels or skills. The game would probably have newer Lemmings... Overall I think it would be a good idea. All in favor say "Yay," and all not in favor say "Nay."

Hmm...
I think I'd rather see something else first, but I'm not opposed to the idea. Lemmings used to be one of my favorite games, and still might be, although I haven't played it in a while.
Plus, I don't really know for sure, but it seems like there would be some copyright stuff to work through for it to be a possibility.

Well, there are a lot of Lemmings style games out there... Plus you would of course modify it, you wouldn't remake it. Maybe make a twist or something.
I share the same viewpoint as WIM here, I think it's an okay idea, but I wouldn't prefer it to other things.
Also, I've played the old Lemmings game, and it gets really darn hard really quick!;)

Nay... I've never heard of it and...well...I don't know...there should be a poll on several games considering this...

Yay, I love lemmings. I had Lemmings 95 on my old computer, and it had over 1000 levels, each unique and most of them very difficult. That game kept me from getting bored when I should've been doing my homework...

I just picked up Lemmings for the PSP for 'research' purposes. ;)
With Team17 keeping the Lemmings fire alive for us Amiga fans, I'm not sure if there's a whole lot I can do that would be cooler than what they have done.
Lemmings is a great game and a true classic, that's for sure!

Hey... Some one who's always correcting himself just spoke in a fragemnt. Worms seems okay, but not too good.

By the square brackets I meant that I was referring to what WIM said, and was just too lazy to correct it properly. I blame it on Saturday...

But its not Saturday... Oh wait, it is. However, I branstormed some ideas to make Blitwise Lemmings even better. Here it is:
Instead of tribal whatever they ares, have cartoonish, aol guy type workers carrying something large. The same things apply, like if they hit a wall, they turn around. However, they drop their load if they want to use a skill, and you have to get all the supplies to the goal. The leader would be red, and the workers could be white, and the leader would have specific skills that can be used on the whole team. Say the leader drops his load and climbs up and wall and floats back down. Then he can use a special skill called horde or something to have all the white guys ram through the wall and destroy it. Then the leader could go back and get their load and continue. That would be awesome. Is that any good?

That would... take some time getting used to, definitely...

Yeah, but it would be awesome!!! It would be even better than the real Lemmings.

I am not one of those people who likes wrestling. I am WAY to good at it, and I dont even like it or own it, I just play them when my freinds talk me into it. I always win, so I play stretegy games, RPGs, and I like to hang around forums.

How about instead of "remaking" lemmings change the main little guys and just kind of keep the gameplay style, so a lemmings like game that has new little guys in it with different skill style things.

Then it would be just like lemmings, and who buys clones where you can buy the real thing?

i think a lemmings type thing would be cool have angles and power like on pocket tanks and you throw like steps and the steps go up but you only have a limted amount and soo much other stuff it would be gooooooood!

Oh no, a branstorm! Hide the ceral! No raisins are safe! Sorry, had to do that. Lemmings would be cool, butaugh hand cramp! I think it would be really difficult to get a good concept going... Well, the concepts there, I mean putting the unique blitwise spin to lemmings. You know that I mean. Eh, I just never bought into the whole lemmings craze, and the ones on addictinggames.com just don't seem too fun.

The thing with making a game like this is that Blitwise would have to try REALLY hard to make it their own. Otherwise, people will just look at it as a rip-off of Lemmings.
