this game is just so much fun. There's no goals, kinda like falling sand. All you have to do is draw a line and let the little sledding guy do all the rest! The best part is: This game's also coming out for the DS and the Wii! O_o that just rocks! Honestly, play this game - you'll get hooked =D

I've played before, I love it. I didn't know it was coming out for DS and Wii though...

That is fun, I play that at school sometimes. Although I can never get the guy not do die....

There's another version called line flyer, which is basically the same. I love both games!:)

Yeah, there are several different versions, but they're all fundamentally the same thing.

Yeah, this game is pretty interesting, although I suck at it so I just make really long ramps and see how many flips I can do.

Anybody want direct SWF downloads of Revision 6.1?

Oh, and, Line Flyer, SUCKS. Decompiled without permission for the lose.

Yeah, I just tried and I got this HUGE course! The guy falls off the sled after 4 minutes. There are loops, twists and vertical, spinning drops.

Wow, that's a freakin' amazing video jstrok9, whoever made that must have put a lot of time and effort into it.

Now how is it that at some point, the guy gained speed when going uphill? I saw that happen near the end. Right when there's about 30 seconds left.

It does same to me, on track I made, I don't know why !?

They're called acceleration lines (the red ones in the editor).

Thanks Grif :D

Edit: Hmm, it doesn't seem to be working with me. It doesn't seem to recognise the standalone as a flash object that I can play. Weird, because I have the very first version standalone and it works fine.

Aha! I know why. It's because you exported it as SWF, and I don't have Flash Creator. You'll have to export it as a flash player file, instead of an SWF, in order for other people who don't have flash creator to run it properly.

Linerider is fun: i made a cool one where the guy does four loops in a row, two backflips, and falls onto another platform: I'm still working on it.

I'm the sadistic type: I see either how far I can make the guy go *without* his sled, or how much pain I can inflict. one of my tracks on the 6.1 revision involves the rider travelling at huge speeds along a booster track, then smacking into a wall :D

 Griff's copying me anyway do you see how people make perfectly curved jumps? I dont get it  I can make the jumps, but i have to do it the way ware thare is strait lines making up a curved  they jus make em pure curved:cool: mabe its cuz I suck.

Yeah, I got beta 2 and downloaded it off the Internet for later. Man when you make that guy on the sled go on red track, he falls off his sled if the impact is too great for him! I usually make that the grand finally! Whoa!

How long are your courses? Mine max 10 minutes. I feel like I can make them longer...

wildgoosespeeder
03-10-2007, 01:37 AM
Length doesn't matter to me. I just make weird occurrences happen when the sled-guy rides the lines!

blue_moon

My coolest one was the guy rides up a building! I made the building out of lines.

I've made some massive loop-the-loops before, although it's still only around 2minutes long...

blue_moon

All my long ones eventually get repetitive and boring. My best one was wonderland. The guy does all these insane flips.

Slade
03-12-2007, 10:51 PM
Do you know if the screen is unlimitedly long? Because if so, I'd make a hill extremely long then a weird motion in the track distorts the rest of the ride.

Grif392
03-12-2007, 11:22 PM
Track goes on forever, and the rider has no terminal velocity; he'll accelerate forever.

Thanks! Uh, how'd you know? Well it doesn't really matter. I'll make an infinite track then!

Has anyone got the latest update from http://www.linerider.com/? There is a crazy video and a new screen saver featuring you guessed it, Line Rider! The screen saver allows you to use your custom courses or random courses. Just go to http://www.linerider.com/!

i have made a really crazy one where the guy never goes upside down or falls off. it's five minutes long.

I like seeing how long I can make him hold an endo. I recently figured out you can draw while he's riding by holding control while you press play. That's pretty fun.
