Interesting hybrid of old school palette based graphics, and unique physics. I personally LOVE the graphics, but, I'm kinda weird.
Fully moddable, too.

That looks pretty cool. I like that style of graphics as well. :)

Plus, what's really neat, is, I can make stuff that actually kinda fits with the quality of there stuff!
Currently working on a moderately large modification to the base.
I like graphics like this. :)
My favorite graphics are the pixel ones of old-school games like Jet Set Willy, Dizzy, and others. Call me crazy.

I like the way that the pixel engine (in Cortex Command) works... The physics engine is really neat interacting with the pixels.
That little animation of the rocket spinning out of control on the front page of the website says it all. ;)

That looks awesome, and looks somewhat like Soldat, which is an awesome game... Downloading right now...

It is somewhat like it, only better in my opinion. ;)

Wouldn't you use the square parentheses ([]) when you write in something yourself so that people know what you are referring to? :P
After trying this game, I must say that it is very amusing, but would be so much better if there was internet play...
My favorite feature is how everything is destructible...

Yes, yes.
I believe co op, though not necessarily online, is a planned feature. This game's in SUPER beta, it's nowhere near complete, so, keep a watch on it.

There, I fixed it you pedantic grammar nut. :P
P.S. They're called brackets. :P

To me they're rarely used things commonly used on the bribed reviews of sci-fi books...

Thank God, now I will be able to stand in front of an actor for less than five seconds before it shoots me...

I don't really like that game.

I like this game, but I couldn't really stand their forums. Everybody there seems to be either an elitist or a brown-noser. Plus, they're pretty unfriendly to boot. I think their community has grown too large and impersonal.

Maybe... I've heard comments like that before.

Cortex command is a sweet game. I played it long before any of you guys :3 got a free copy on the DVD that came with my PC Gamer magazine sometime late last year. of course back then it was called 'Cortex Command Test' so obviously it was still in beta. Didn't have any sound, which sucked :3

It's still in beta methinks. At least they still call it "Cortex Command Test Build blah"...

I made my first few mods today, though they aren't really much. I made one gun I called a "wave of destruction," a Vin Diesel character, and a sort of novelty gun that shoots blood. I'm still working on that gun so that it'll harm stuff and be more effective, and I'm working on Vin Diesel so that he is less easily killed.

I don't like games with blood and violence in them. You guys can be cleaner than that! :D

Blood and gore are off the list for me also. There are much better things to do than just watch huge blobs of reddish water cover the viewscreen of these games.

Yeah, I avoid blood in my games unless I feel the need for some aliens guts to burst out of his skin. I could care less for video game violence, but it can be a nice touch to shooter. You can't have people die without blood.
