View Full Version : Pocket Tanks Mods?

I was kinda wondering with this new update if it will be possible to make mods. I know that usually mods are for bigger games but even now you can make mods to pocket tanks (sound, images). I know in some bigger games they have released the scource code so people can make ultra mods, by reprogramming the games with C++. I tried this for one game but my computer wouldn't run the game when I installed my mod.

For Mike:

Just being curious, but since you programmed the game, have you ever made any mods for it? I was thinking of one where there would be a target on the screen that moved according to your power and angle so you know where your going to hit. :D Actually that would be more of a cheat....knowing where your shot will land

Hmm. Seems interesting. About your "cheat", I guess that'd be something that "knew" the gravity, etc values for the game, took your power, angle, and then told where it landed.

or mabey: undestructable floating barriers plus a shot analyzer (or, the cheat everlast suggested. that's at least what i call them. it makes a lot of sense, that name.)

when i was in 2nd grade, i used to call my homework biscuits. then my teacher one day said, cook your biscuits next time, this once isn't very good. so when i finshed my homework the next day, i put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes because that's what the package said.

it's NOT a good thing to bring in your charred, flaming homework to your teacher and say "i cooked it the way you wanted it!"

There's this thing in the electronics shop I'm in thats used to power neon signs, and you can actually see the power jump back and forth between the rods. A sophomore put a piece of paper in between them and it caught on fire.

As long as you don't stick your hand in the middle and ground yourself, your fine. My electronics teacher also stuck a paper clip in the electrical outlet, jiggled it around and didn't get hurt. He didn't ground himself. One time, he DID ground himself by sitting on a steel sink, and burnt himself. He lived because its got and AC current, not DC. 92% of people who get electrocuted live.

and when he says grounded, he means your touching the ground. if you touch an electric fence, you get electrocuted. if you stand on a wooden stool and touch an electric fence, nothing happens. that's because plastic and wood don't conduct electrisity. if you stand on a METAL stool and touch an electric fence...your screwed.

that was for all the people who didn't know that out there, so don't yell at me.

And that's why birds don't get roasted by sitting on transmission lines, kids.

Eh... Maybe... Tomorrow. I have a half day for almost no reason, and my T-Amp will be done also. The T-Amp is basically a home made speaker for computers, iPods, anything. Even cell phones.
That reminds me... Here's something that happened in my electronics shop today:
Me: Ok, I've got the T-Amp done, can you test it?
Teacher: Sure, do you have an MP3 player I can borrow?
Me: No...
Teacher: Well, I'm sure you don't want to use mine...
Me: Why?
Teacher: You don't know? Try it.
Me: What's wrong with it?
Teacher: Just turn it on, its the button in the middle.
(the next part is stupid on my part. I didn't realize the screen had a sticker on it that shows it when its on.)
*I touch the on button and get shocked and drop it, the teacher laughs*
