Alright, boys and girls. We've got a little something to whet your appetites. Expansion packs are a definite for next week, unless there's a military coup. Long shot, I know, but never leave out the possibility of a military coup around here. Also, we've got a little something for you, two of the icons from the expansion packs.

Golden Shot

Fires a huge spread of bullets with one golden bullet randomly placed in the mix.

Kind of like releasing a flock of pigeons, only one of them is an ex-Navy Seal in a bird suit.

Snowball Fight

Snowballs bounce and roll their way down the hill.

Molten Plastic: Burning hot bouncy plastic covers the terrain and causes damage.

If you like bouncy bomb and the smell of burning plastic, this weapon is for you. Of course, if you like the smell too much, you might need a CAT scan.

Sledgehammer: Pummels the opposing tank from on high, driving them into ground and causes damage.

Melt Down: Generates a sinkhole where the missile lands and then fills it with lava.

Bouncy Ball: Looks like a bouncy ball, sounds like a bouncy ball. but leaves bouncy dirt here and there just for fun.

That's an accurate description of my three year old.

Shredder: Fires tiny objects that grind up the terrain and causes some tank damage as well

Collide-o-scope: It’s colorful, bouncing, homing, and oddly looks like a Chinese dragon.

That's exactly like a Chinese Dragon, except it doesn't breathe fire and feast on the flesh of the living.

This one took a lot of work. It only wanted to hit the enemy if he was wearing a red shirt. :)

Hello all fellow pocket-tankers, about a month ago i emailed mike about the new weapons, because a while back he said they were due July 3rd, and he included the name of one you may not have heard of yet, we know about the mass driver, but another was of one "lava". Here's quoted,

If this is capable of burrowing ALL the way across the screen, would it not overpower LOS weapons like laser and bazooka? After all, a hit by the tunnel weapon would set up an almost perfect angle for LOS weapons. Secondly, hitting a submerged opponent with tunnel, followed by old faithful or napalm weapons (because of the ceiling) could result in several hundred damage that is nearly impossible for the other player to prevent (without wounding themselves).

Still waiting for the LAN version of pocket tanks. I would like to see a terrain editor from which you can choose from regular dirt, glue, or bouncy dirt maps. Also, a weapon creator would be nice, choose how the trail, effect, and damage done, would be amazing.

I just found this neet forum, so Hi everybody. I used to love scorched earth on the AMIGA, and I myself wrote several AMIGA games that I gave away for pd on aminet and some won game of the month in AMIGA Format magazine, like 'Fred The Frog' etc
