Static Ball Glitch

I was messing around with static ball in Target practice, I shot a Static Ball that got 110 points because when it hit the other player it had 5 tens, and then the hit was 2 thirtys...2 THRITYS!!! Has this happened to anyone else?

So do you have to hit it directly on the other player?

I really have no idea how it happened...But it counted the initial hit twice...

Weird... I've hit straight on many times but that's never happened to me.

It wasn't a direct hit...it bounced around a bit then hit.

Grr I hate glitches.. they're what take away the strategy in this game and turn it into a game of luck :(

I hvae gotten 4 tens and 1 thirty, because when it bounces around it shocks you and when it hits you it or explodes near you it does thirty.

I had a few questions reguarding weapons..

Is there any special use of flash blast and/or the shadow blast weapon?


And also a fun thing to try is to make the screen a giant funnel intarget practice, having one of the players near the top on several pedestals, and then firing whatever you want,
-pineapple is fun, and i thought solar flare might be the most damaging weapon in the game, except it rebounds not wuite as i had hoped in the gigantic funnel

(use lots of mud pies combined with tunnels to make the giant funnel, then coat the entire screen with bouncy dirt)

To damage the enemy when he/she is stuck in dirt, without actually taking out the dirt...

The tunneling weapons (Worm, Flower Power, etc.) are good for this purpose as well...

I took the picture after the enemy already started firing, but you can see that the weird point combo has almost floated away...:shocked:

That's exactly what happened! Same amount of points and everything!

I think it gets 2 thirties, because I think that you get 30 if it hits the player, and you get thirty if the explosion is near the player. So I think it explodes so close to the player you get both. In Xap's pic the crater is really close to the tank...
