So I hear the AI is being fine tuned a bit! Can't wait for this update over the next month or so!
One fix I know he's working on..well you all know when the computer tries to lob the bazooka...gee there it goes up into the sky...your turn again. There was also a fix pertaining to the pc using shelter liek weapons or firing when you use them can't remember.
Anyways w00 love this game.

Ya. Actually, I'm kind of hoping for a version of Pocket Tanks with additional AI levels. The CPUs have been becomming less of a challenge lately...

to mike or brian or anyone else who may know:
Will we have to pay for the update if we already have PTD?

I think levels one through five are about the same.

From what I've seen/played, they're all somewhat different in 'difficulty'. It would be nice if you could customize the computer intelligence level.

What a surprise. Got the free update to 1.20, and the first game, the AI tank actually moved to get better positioning. Also for the first time, the AI tank aimed the turret so the X-ray and laser would be effective, rather than just shooting them into the air and wasting the shots (as it used to do.)
The only glitch I can see right now is, if the AI tank gets buried or stuck and cannot move its turrent for a good shot, it simply fires it straight up, rather than aiming it into the surrounding terrian to blast itself out of the situation. I guess it hasn't learned that sometimes shooting yourself in the foot can be a positive thing.
All and all, this is a great upgrade. Music is better, sound effects seem clearer (there are some new ones) and less staticky, games moves more fluidly, etc.
I'm glad all the version upgrades have been free, because I woud never pay to buy the game again (but I don't mind paying for the packs). I'd held off buying the last three expansion packs, figuring they were basically the same as the old stuff, just fluffed up a bit. With this new upgrade, I broke down and got the remaining packs. Unless something amazing appears in future packs, I think I'm done getting them. Most are simply minor variations of old ones. I've had enough bouncy stuff and glue stuff and 1, 3, 5, 1o shot stuff... I mean, it's alright stuff, just not all that reinventive.
Very solid new release! Thanks, guys!
