I... did not hear of either of these.

...Well, he may have screwed up severely, but half of me recalls the music.
Hopefully people remember that as well.

The epic return!

Michael Jackson is going to be missed deeply. He made many changes to music, dance, and the world as a whole. He was one of the most influential musicians of all time. Words alone cannot do the man justice. He's an idol and a hero.

May the King of Pop rest in peace.

I don't know why people thought that MJ was a perv; I mean he was proved innocent in the child molestation case, wasn't he?

When the law recognizes him as innocent, who are we to judge him?

User

The last time MJ got accused for child molestation, the kid parents settled for 25 million dollars. So it never did make it to trial...

Everybody's talking about MJ. On TV, on radio... Yep, this is when the times his name is called the most. <how do i express myself when i don't know how?!>
Yes, his dead is a big loss to the world, especially in music. I was born in 1993 so until now, his name and music to me is just ... name and music. Even though i'm not a big fan - at his pinnacle of fame, i'm not there - i still feel bad about his dead. ("dead" here is "dead" or "death"??? Can anyone help me) http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u80/EMoProDiGy/Icons/M039.gif
Since he's gone, can we just give him a rest... R.I.P, hello?http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u80/EMoProDiGy/Icons/dead.gif

Why would you feel that?
I feel almost the same way as you do, almost every born in the 90's does.

Hahaha no, he payed the family 25 million some odd dollars to make the case go away, at least according to the news.

RIP MJ

No. That was a case 15 or 20 years ago. In 2005 he was accused again but was acquitted when it was found that the mother of the child in question had tried to sue Jay Leno and several other stars.

You have no right to judge Michael Jackson.

I did not hear that.

RIP McMahon (will update OP)

Micheal Jackson cannot be judged right now. he was found not guilty, and, who cares? he made many changes to music. i remember staying up late with my dad seeing the Thriller video. childhood would be alot different without him. so lets all stop this judging crap and remember the good things, eh?

The only song I knew from Michael Jackson was his song "Beat It" and that was only because of the song "Eat It".

I'm not trying to start an argument. Especially one on a board meant to remember these three people. However, if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

ekoz

yes. please, lets stop arguing. you wouldn't do this at a real funeral, would you? no. so stop, and just try to be civil for the sake of paying respects for three people who died before their time.

Okay, she doesn't really deserve it. That's just my hatred for Disney channel showing through. (But if Paris Hilton happens to keel over, the sun will shine just a little more brightly that day.)

Karl Malden also died a few days ago, but he was far enough before your time that he wouldn't have received much coverage even without the "OMG EM-JAY DIED!!!!!" obsessive attitude of the newscasters. CNN has run nearly non-stop coverage of unimportant, marginally related topics since his death. Nothing about the recent military operation in Iraq, nothing about the near-malicious incompetence of the "cap and trade" bill, nothing about North Korea's threats on the testing of intercontinental ballistic weaponry; just Jackson.
