I used to make alot of stopmotion with clay models and action figures.
I once made a 40-something minutes animation with a clay slime that would absorb action figures and use them to shape itself. The final form was about 25cm tall.
A cool thing that I did was put dialogue baloons(fixed on a foam bar wich was fixed on anything on the background), and add a letter in each frame, so it had that feeling that the letters appeared as the character spoke.
I never edited any animation nor put it in the computer(I didn't had the hardware to do so).
I stopped making animations after my camera broke, and I'm too broke to get a new one to use just as a time killing thing, but I really don't have a need for it :P
