You'll have to explain what "nostolgia" is.
Ooh, we could use a nostalgia thread, though.

If that's yours, I envy you.

Heh, I remember those images.
I originally typed "white", but it then occurred to me that the SNES is not white; it is a light grey.

Metroid II secure.

I played Metroid Fusion so much I could beat the entire game in a little over 2 hours.

So... What's wrong with that?

nothing, its just its a pinball version of prime. theyre both good games, but i like the original prime better.

Well yeah.
I don't see Prime and Pinball as even being comparable. They're completely different games and different entities.

Man, I still have to complete Prime 2...
Course it's been so long that I'll have to start over, as I can't even remember where I was going or what I was trying to do.

metroid 2 is one of my long time favorites, and one of two sidescroller metroids that I can play without wanting to throw the bloody games at something.
I played Metroid Fusion so much I could beat the entire game in a little over 2 hours.
3 hours, I had a bad case of insomnia, and needed something to pass the time, lest I go nuts.
Still, completely different feels and experiences.

took me a month to beat prime 2, with a text based guide that in some locations I was certain at times it was inaccurate with.....that or the author needs lessons in clarifying how the bloody **** to get past that magnatron thingy...

I never really got into the point & click genre. I tried...
Ever heard of Clock Tower on SNES? Still creepy and scary at times even now. I should genuinely see how well I can do one of these days...

I also played Super Mario Bro. 2 all the time. I could beat it in about 30 minutes, using the shortcut jars.

i still play the original smb. recently got it for gba so i play it even more. one of the castles is still hard to me. the one where it repeats if you dont go in the right order.

If I had to recommend one single point & click game, it would probably be Loom... Maybe Monkey Island. I actually don't like those kinds of games very much now, but my brother(s) bought several of them, and I played them just because they were there, so now they're all nostalgic.

For me, Pocket Tanks is one of the earliest games I've played. Each time I listen to Fabric of Time, I am reminded of my childhood.

Being only 16, I don't really remember that much stuff from before 1990. You know, 'cuz I wasn't in existence back then. Yeah. I went there.
However, I miss my Game Boy Color. Overall it was teh sux in comparison to what we have now, but the games were genuinely fun. I tried playing a few of them about a year ago, but whatever primitive storage devices they used no longer work. Sadface.

what? i've been playing metroid II on a gameboy advance. the only systems with a gba slot the gameboy color games dont work on are the DSs.

After several HOURS of interpretation, I found out what you were saying.
The games still work, but the internal battery that powered the primitive flash memory died, so I couldn't save anything.

then get a security wrench and open it up, replace the battery.
EDIT
C:\WINDOWS>run post-o-matic.exe
couldnt think of anything better.
EDIT II: got metroid zero mission and fusion. both for a total of 15 USD.
