View Full Version : Help me with converting video formats!!!

I'm working on an animation called "Stick War #1 (Black VS. White)" (and no, not the races. Just wanted to make sure we're clear on that one) and I'm making it in Windows Movie Maker and I don't know how to convert the file format so I can put the work I have on my uTube acount. Someone please help!

What are you trying to convert it to? I have Windows Movie Maker also but I have never used it.

MSWMM is the file type and I'm not sure what I want to convert it to...

Well I know that Microsoft Movie Maker can import most anytype of video/movie file but I don't know if it can export it. I would try to just take off the .MSWMM and put the extension of the video you want. Examples like .wav .avi .mp3 etc...... So try that first.

In Movie Maker Click The Tasks Button, then in the white bar to the left select "Save to my Computer".

It Will Save it as a WMV i believe.

There are ways of rendering to different formats... I'm not near an open PC though, so I can't check how right now...

It's short 'cause it's a preview for the actual film. The actual thing will be 2-3 min long. And it's easy to make one of those. I'll tell ya later. (if you want to know)

There are many programs that can do that...But I don't know any.
