Well i think that at some point someone might have said this in the forum but i thought that it would be really cool to have dx ball on my ipod i was playing that brick game in class and it was really boring i thought it was dx ball for a second and was waiting for something to start falling from the bricks but nothing fell :( what do you guys think??

Can you say "punctuation"?
Though I agree. DX-Ball on iPod Touch, for example. Tilt the iPod to move the paddle. :)
That's an idea for the back burner, though. More important things underway.

I dunno about that, because if tilting the screen causes only the paddle to move, it'd be a little confusing. I'd rather slide the paddle around with my finger.
But yes, this is an idea for latter on.

*facepalm*
And there lies the problem.
It isn't always easy to read. It's a forum, not an IM chat session. People have to read your posts. There shouldn't be any thinking about what the text says whatsoever.
Sorry to bash your posting like that, but that's just the fact.
@Zwaken:
Hmm... perhaps you're right.
Actually, an option for that would be perfect.
Just a button in the options that toggles between touch and tilt.

Well if you play DX ball there are two speeds for the paddle to move at pushing shift maybe if its only going to be for one of those touch type ipods. Movement should be touch to the side that you want the paddle to to go but if you want it to go faster then you double tap on the screen to move faster. Or two buttons on the sides of the board some buttons maybe you push them to control paddle movements.
(i put in a period's :D )
(i put in a period :D )
But you didn't put any other punctuations...

Super DX-Ball on the iPod Touch is a possibility. We certainly have the engine to make that happen.

About the only trouble with Super DX-Ball on the iPhone is that I do a ton of procedural rendering to make the brick art at run-time. The iPhone is: 1) kinda slower than a PC, and 2) relative low on RAM. So, we'd need to come up with a much faster way to render the brick art, since loading in static brick art would use more RAM than is available.
It would be a fun challenge. :)

I accept with information: play DX ball there are two speeds for the paddle to move at pushing shift maybe if its only going to be for one of those touch type ipods. Movement should be touch to the side that you want the paddle to to go.
