I've Noticed Recently that there is a Thread for Weapon submissions but not for land, So Here I Have Made One.
Edit:I Did Not Notice the New Type of Terrains for PT thread by Zwaken123, Hope Your Not Mad...
I've Already Submitted This somwhere else but Here it is AnyHow.
High Plain
Like Plains But the dirt is two or three times deeper.
Now These next ones are new to me at least
Rubber Worlds
Any Land Set Coverd or made out of bouncet dirt
Mountains
Both Players Start on top of two Mountains
Hills
Smooth Rolling Hills
Blank
No Land, Plain and Simple
Caves
Both Tanks start in a cave like Structure
Big Cave
Both Tanks Start in an enormouse enclosed cavern
I took this from someone else:
Arena
Any Map With Walls on the edges of the map thet either stop or bounce bullets.
Dirt Floor
No Dirt Except for a tiny layer on the ground so cruzers work.
Now, Post Your Ideas Should you have any below:

Sereinity: A land in the clouds with really calming grafics. Here the weapons sink a bit before exploding and the clouds smooth out after a blast (kinda like how the lava weapon flows).
By the way, did I spell "sereninity" right?

I forgot to mention, you will be playing ON the clouds.
It's "Serenity.";)
Ineresting idea, although I think it would be a bit hard to program.
(I wish there was a Worms level with clouds!)

What about a terrain that is made of ice and melts a little bit after each volley. Or better yet instead of ice it could be chocolate! Mmmmm... :)

A Large Void or hole lies under a thin suspension of land of wich both tanks are on top of.

Any terrain But Loads of Holes Have been blasted underground.
Tunnles

Now these ideas I like. The holes one in particular. Sort of like suiss cheese, right?:)

Hilly lands-around 5 or 6 small hills.
Pillars
Loads of Tall Thin Pillers Dot The Map, Players Start on two of them.
A good way to picture it would be to make a referance to Dragon Ball Z.
If youve ever seen a DBZ battle there are always those strange non-existant stone pillers, Think of those.

City-tall and short, thin and fat walls everywhere. Those represent buildings. Just like a city;) (the "buildings" would never become higher than a magic. You would start on one of the taller buildings at the begining.)
Flight
A Map Where tanks can Fly and float at will, to bad it needs a better engine...:(

Terrain is spiky.. medium height.. level land
Bumpy
Bumpy terrain.. random height, random level
Craters
Medium height terrain, flat but random craters

Islands
Lots of platforms and islands hovering everywhere, players start out on two of them near the top of the screen
Bridge Revised
My Earlyer Briidge Idea but:
The Dirt will all be non collapsable (so you'll have to bast holes to fall),
The bridge will be rather thick
The ground below will be treachourous, makeing movement impossible.
or maby there'll be nothing there.

Tower
Completley (just about) flat on either side where the Tanks start, but a HUGE tower that goes to the top of the screen in the middle. The tower will have a few arched tunnels in it for weapons fired at the right angles to come through, and it is non-collapsable.
Hmm... Maybe the walls could also be bouncy. :p
now THAT is why I STARTED this topic!!!

Box - Simple, both tanks are closed in a box . (Blue and red dots are tanks)
Terrain should not fall if you hit terrain that's upon tanks .

Flying Islands - Every tanks is on a flying island (Same high), and there are many flying islands over whole map (Not to many, so shots can go through air) .

I think banning is a little extreme in this case. He stated in another thread that he wouldn't post that anymore. Hopefully, he has absorbed a bit of forum etiquette and nothing more needs to be said. Well, I have but one suggestion:
UNDERGROUND CITY OF RATS!: basically, a huge arena underground with non exploding concrete, a huge hole in the bottom and tons of paths. Occaisonally, there would be a diggable patch of dirt (randomly generated) here or there.

Like the bouncy terrain, but covered in glue instead of bouncy dirt, so cruisers won't be able to function normally =D

I am pretty suprised at that. Thats good for fission bombs and scatter shots.

Speaking of stuff that nobody has mentioned......
Why not snow-themed terrain?
Mount Everest
A giant snowy mountain, (made of tar, so it is black) with white snowcaps at the top
And if you hit the summit, snow would avalanche down both sides, hopefully onto and burying the other player
or just...

I'd like to see each type of terrain have properties to it:
Normal (Green) would be the basic (No change).
Bouncy/Rubber (Pink) would be normal, but retain the 'bounce' property (No change).
Glue/Sticky (Yellow) would be normal, but retain the 'glue' property (No change).
Snow/Clouds (White) would be softer than normal. Weapons would 'sink' (as already suggested) before exploding and the explosion would be bigger than normal.
Tar/Concrete (Black) would be harder than normal. Weapons explosions would be smaller than normal.
Steel/Metal (Silver) would be indestructable. Weapons explosions would be normal and explode on contact, but the terrain would remain.
Godloki - These are excellent ideas! :) They're right along the lines of something I suggested a while back in a different thread. :)
Oh, and I like your username (probably becuase I like mythology, and Loki is one of the Norse gods. ;)

Polka-Dot-The terrain is made up of several random things (like glue and rubber) which are in the shapes of circles. Truly chaos here, some shots will bounce past the tank and others are not so lucky...good ideas godloki! If those terrain types were in this one, then there would be MUCH more chaos, heh heh...

Abstract - the terrain is randomly generated in complicated weaving and twisted patterns. The key point of this terrain is that ice dirt and bouncey dirt is very strategically placed so that you can get a hit any time. This is for mega experts.

Dream: The terrain adds, takes away or moves some parts every volley.
I think objects on the terrain like houses or trees would look pretty good from a aesthetic point of view and maybe than again just as background.

Highlands - tanks at the base of the screen. High pillars/sections/hills of dirt everywhere so that the tanks have to shoot at high angles.

Super DX Ball- regular dirt halfway, the rest is DX Ball bricks! They are still dirt though...
Volcano- a brown hill that has red dirt up top.

Sorry if any of these have been said, I only read Page 1 and 5.
Champion Flats - Starts off as normal flats but randomizes terrain and position, power and angle each volley.
Giant Tree - Flats but a giant tree shaped piece of terrain that is indestructable.
Rain of Chaos - Each volley after shots are taken, solar flare rains down taking off points, making shelter very valuable. Is random what terrain comes up.

Canyon - large pillars of dirt divide the screen in many sections.

Graves: Every turn some holes open up on the ground randomly.
War: the terrain starts covered in barbed wire, (damage on touch, stops cruisers,) mines that explode when touched, and a random number of bombs between 4-8 drop every turn and take away around 8 points.
I really like volcano though it would be cool if the Volcano actually exploded at the end of the game.
I no, I no better engine needed.

Lava Mountain - the 'land' is an active volcano situated in the centre of the screen. Every time an explosion rocks the volcano, lava spews out of the top of it! It cannot be destroyed also.

That sounds pretty cool, but what would the lava DO? Take away points, or coat the tank in glue, or give points to the one who made the explosion, or maybe what would be really cool is the lava would sink into a pit, and tanks could go through it but bombs explode upon impact! *breath* :p

Good question. It would give points to the one who didn't fire. Therefore the trick is to get the weapons that make the smallest explosions.

Stone Fortress - as it is. Two stone towers at either side of the screen. The towers are indesrtuctable. But in between the two towers is brown destructable dirt. Tip: don't fall out of your tower.

Icey Hills - as it is; icey hills surround the entire screen. The tanks can slide and they can't bounce.
And to answer Demyx's question, I like to submit my ideas anyway. If later on he considers the idea of different land forms, I'll post my unique ideas again.

Falling Earth - tanks start at the base of the screen. There is dirt all the way from the tanks up to teh sky. The dirt floats until it is hit by an explosion.
To Awnser Some Questions, Pocket Tanks Was Made For Weapones Expansions, Not Land, So We`ll Probably Have To Wait For An Update. Secondly, If Your Worried That Brian Isnt Paying Attention, Just Pm Him.

Space: Moves would be in four directions and your tanks start at varying heights and places. Shots would move slower and only on player impact would there be an explosion. Shots also have to be fired like Bazooka.
What does everyone think?

I like the two above posts. As long as there are obstacles in space I'm happy. There could be like a little planet say in the middle of the field with it's own gravity. Just imagine all the strategy possibilities in that!

Low Gravity Field - when i tank is fired or gets hit it will float around or fly away due to low gravity
War of Ze Worlds: Each Tank would start on a "Planet" If it where to move, it mould stick to that planet and could drive all the way around... There would be other, random circles of dirt, or "Planets" that would each have there own gravity, and would greatly inpact weapon movements, and flying tank movements (Like kick and Jumpjets).
