View Full Version : Bonus levels - cannot win them at all

I'm playing on normal difficulty in the level challenge. I cannot, for the life of me, survive any of the bonus levels. Does anyone have any hints?

Hmmm...try not to use up all of your Special weapons at the begining. When I did this, I was able to get 6X more points!!!

dude you can't use specials in bonus levels, and if its a level where they fallow you like the red squares try to make them form a ball.

Yeah the red squares are easy, just keep circling the box and they can never get you.

What do you mean you never got to a bonus level? Aren't they the ones that you have to try and avoid the enemies with no weapons for one minute?

Back on topic, i don't like the bonus levels at all beause i never win them and my multiplyer get reset whenever they star, not to mention the bonus is REALLY small for all the hard work you do for it.

I fail to see on some bonus levels how I could *fit* my ship into the map, much less dodge. Must be my bad mouse-piloting skills.

I'm confused...And I don't mean the "I'm lost because I don't have a map" type confused, I mean the "I'm lost, and I have a map, but the map is making no sense...And no, it's not upside-down, I'm looking at it the correct way" kind of confused.

well, this entire episode was quite unnessesary. you guys have been pushing and pushing for months. you know i'd eventually blow up. if you don't like it, too bad.

plus, i gave you guys warning i was really reaching the end of my fuse. if you don't take warning from that, you deserve what i said.

In bonus level, your ship doesn't shoot, and you have to survive for a designated time. Meanwhile, the number of enemies raises constantly. You don't lose a life if your ship gets destroyed.

Uh, yeah.
A moderator should not have to close a thread unless people are insulting one another, or relentlessly spamming.
A thread should be allowed to sit without worry of being revived for no reason.

I guess it's one of those simple yet complicated issues, but that's my and I'm pretty sure everyone else's take on it.

Let's cut this out now.
