I don't think I can, but it's not something I've ever tried to do, either. If by privet you mean Private, of course, If by privet you mean a shrubbery, then I can see those, yes.

I've wondered that myself, actually.
I don't think any admin can see PMs. I'm an admin at Rockman Tanjou (Mega Man scanlation site), and don't have access to PMs either.
We also have a different forum host.

It's possible for admins to check private messages, but difficult. Thus they will only do it if they are suspicious that someone might be sending/receiving unsuitable private messages.
Maybe the Super-Admins can, like the one who created the forum. Usually Super Admins have more power than regular admins. Brian might be a Super Admin though.
It can be done, but it's not easy to do. Obviously, private messages have to be stored somewhere on our server, so it's not impossible for us to get them. However, if I recall correctly, actually accessing those message would require one of us (Brian, Mike, or myself) to query the forum's database directly - a non-trivial task. I can't see it ever happening unless we found evidence of illegal activity...

Well, I went through every possible option and feature on the admin panel, and I don't see it. Probably applies to all boards.
One would need to do some finagling.

How about someone sends a horrible, destructive, negative, insulting, etc. private message about Blitwise and see if they get banned. Make sure you break all the rules. :D

Having the admins be able to read our private messages is a pretty scary thought. It kind of defeats the purpose of "private messaging". I got really nothing to worry about on this forum because one, I obey the law, two, I trust the admins won't invade my personal business and three, I got no private messages stored! :D

Brian said that the forum gets a lot of spam bots that are automatically banned, and the ones that we see that have made threads are just the ones that got past Brian. So I'm not surprised it didn't have any post and got banned if that is the case.
All those theories are logic. I wonder what Brian has to say about that potential member/spambot.

Not if those posts are gone now. I remember that guy AJ128943643586438654 posted like 100 times in one day, and 50 of them were removed, so his post count was 50.

If a post is deleted, the overall post count of that member goes down as well.

Rex, before you start spouting the word purge on half the forum, please remember what actually happened. Brian actually removed the accounts. For that reason, you wouldn't be able to view their account that says 'banned'.
I just pruned our members list to delete people who have not signed on in the past three months and who have less than 3 posts. Primarily, this gets rid of a bunch of useless spam accounts, but you have my apologies if it affected you. I figured, it having been a year since the boards started, I should do some housekeeping.
Simply banning the accounts wouldn't remove them. Half of the accounts removed already were banned.

I'm really confused on how to try to respond to this thread. On one hand it's talking about a banned member, and on the other it's talking about an emo chainsaw massacre (as in killing the emos).
As for the emo thing, I think those of you who didn't know that Rex is the "resident emo" (quoting him from when I was a new blitter) are very unobservant or have a chronic reading problem.
Now for the banned poster. It probably was a spammer (bot or otherwise) that was auto-banned when they tried to make a first post. Like when Brian reprogrammed the auto-ban filter to incorporate Microsoft or Windows in the first post.
