What operating system do you use? I bet no one here uses linux because no Blitwise game has Linux capability. But I use windows and wish I had a Mac and I used to have a Linux.

I don't remember when my Windows has last crashed on me, and I hate Macs with a passion...
I've never tried Linux, though...
This poll is expected/10...

Linux is complex, but it's my favorite of the 3. I just got a PC because I couldn't download a lot of stuff because almost nothing supports linux.

Eh, what? There is a lot of Linux stuff out there... Just try finding Universal stuff for Intel Macs (I'm sure that it will change), and you might have a different opinion. ;)
One of the best things about Linux is that almost everything you can get for it is free and open source. Not to mention the OS itself!

Here's an example: Ptanks doesn't support linux...maybe blitwise should change that...NOT NOW THOUGH! They have too much on their hands right now.

Ptanks doesn't support linux...
Pocket Tanks isn't Universal yet either... Not to say that it doesn't run, It runs fine anyway.
I believe that Mike said somewhere that they either had started Linux development or that they were considering it...

I've seen Pocket tanks running on a linux box... Through Wine... I think it's wine... This person also had Winamp going on it too...
I prefer Knoppix/Linux... But I have yet to get it to work with my ISP... not that I have tried very hard... Most of the time it's just easier to use Windows...

I like mac.
Windows sucks, I've only used it at school but even in that brief period It froze and deleted everything. (including my 500 word story, grrr...)
Well, you must have some horrible computers at school. I have windows at school, and it is okay, but mine at home is great!:)
I like macs a lot too (I have one at my other house), although they have a higher probability to crash. I personally liked os9 better and os10, although on os9 and below, force-quit never worked.
Anyway, I use windows more often (and like it better). It has better games, I think. I've never used or even seen a computer that runs on linux.

It depends on the computer, really.

Actually, no, I have Windows XP Professional, as I was just referring to how there is that stupid stereotype that Windows crashes all the time. I said my computer must be godly because of Was It Me?'s comment.

My last Windows box didn't crash that often, it just didn't work while it WAS running. :D

No love for Unix? :(
Hmmm... I've never had Windows crash on me, and I've had 98, 2000, and XP. However, the os10 and 0s9 macs I have at my other house seem to crash once in a while (os9 a lot more often).

I've had several computers... Windows 3.1 was extremely stable... Windows 95 Crashed periodicly... Windows 98 did fairly well, but went down every now and then... although never bad enough to need to start from scratch... Windows ME while it was somewhat stable... tends to have several issues...
I've since settled with Windows 2000... It's never had any problems with me... My best friend has Windows XP, the only issues I've had with it... were Virus related...
Now my father has an iMac... it has OS8.5... It never really crashed, but it would Freeze from time to time...
And I still love Knoppix... :D
What annoys me about macs is that on every version below os10, force quit never works...

Since OS X though, it works wonderfully! MUCH better than Windows' End Task, which only works well when the program is working... (not when you actually need to force it to quit.)

I love unix, really because the darwin core of OSX is unix.
But I have used All the mac os systems, and all the windows systems xcept the vista beta, as well as my share of linux, and I can say mac is the best, and windows is the worst. And several posts ago, someone mentioned a windows computer deleating a file?
Well I had a windows computer erase half the hard drive before, and there was no virus.
But i'm not here to start a computer holy war.
Carry on!
