[Was It Me?]

I just thought that it would be an interesting poll to see what browsers people here use. :)

I got the idea from another forum where you can see which browser people are using... An interesting fact was that not a single online member (at one point today) was using IE, but almost every guest was. ;) (Out of about 20 members!) :)

If you'd like to, post your reason(s) for choosing a particular one... (Some places, this would spark a heated debate. ;))

I'm using Firefox version 1.5 or so.;)
I use Safari at my other house though, but not as often.
They're both great browsers.

2.0 came out recently... but most people don't have it yet. :)

I'm an Opera user... Although I have Firefox 2 on my computer... As well as Maxthon...

What program do you "surf the internet" with?

I have some version of Firefox. I mainly use it for the myriad useful extensions, like all-in-one gestures, linkification, text-to-image, adblock, stumbleupon, forecastfox... The list goes on. I'd get 2.0, but I hear that some extensions are not compatible with it. I'm sure I'll get it at some point... And once I have a Wii, I guess I'll be using Opera as well. =P

Well, I've never run into that before. It's probably because I pretty much only ever check 2 other forums, and both of them you might say are for "geeks." There, whenever someone brings up a topic about this or a similar subject, it can turn into quite a debate. ;)

Heh, I didn't realise that Firefox 2 had hit the official release until I read this thread... I'm slow :rolleyes:

Have been using Firefox since 1.0 came out. It's a great browser... so is IE, I suppose, but tabbed browsing is what got me hooked on FF. IE7 refuses to work on my system, so... *shrug*

I use safari because it came withe my mac and I like it. (It came with IE too, but for some reason its like 5 times slower)

I hate Internet Explorer, because it's really buggy compared to other programs, and can't make "tabs" in one window, which I always use.:(

Same with my operating system, Windows XP. The last time it has crashed on me was... I don't remember...
