look at my other poll to see what an interactive terrain object is.

P.S. I will ask MIke if he will make them free.

It'll probably be based on the same system that the weapon expansion packs are. Packs of 5 or so objects will be free, and packs of more than 5 will need to be paid for.

Come on. We should let the guy make some money... right?

He can't keep giving things away for free. They take time to make. Especially something like interactive terrain objects.

By the way, I *think* that the "interactive terrain objects" will need a major engine addition. So, I'm not counting on them being in Pocket Tanks at all.

However, I'm at the point where it's time to make a new artillery game engine. That is most likely where you'll start to see interactive objects, various terrain types, DOT "Damage Over Time" weapons, more than 2 players, team play, online play, etc....

I can't decide if it will be a 'spin off' of the Pocket Tanks world or a next-gen version of Pocket Tanks itself. One way or the other, I'll be spending 2007 working on a bigger 'artillery' game. For the old Amiga fans, think Scorched Tanks with all the enhancements you ever hoped for plus internet and network play.

I agree, MIke can't give away everything. Just as long as the price is right :D

true, I agree they should be given and sold the same way the weapon expansions are.

:D I have just joined! Hello!! As my first post, I will list several of my weapon ideas:
THE MINE PACK
1 Nail Gun: launches like the tommy gun but instead of bullets, there are nails which act as walls and do damage at the same time. (around 0 - 10 points per nail)
2 Sticky Thread: fires a long, crooked string of bouncy dirt wherever your barrell is pointing.
3 Land Mines: fires 10 mines that stick to dirt wherever they land. If an explosion ever takes place near them, or if the tank ever lands or treads over one, it explodes producing 15 points.
4 Chain Mines: fires a linked line of mines. Process is the same... but once a mine has been touched, they all simutaneously explode.
5 Chopsticks: fires 25 mini-chopsticks - each like a hot potato but instead of 50 points, they each do minimum 5, maximum 10. Bouncing accumulation is 1 point per bounce.
6 DNA: looks like gravity well's 'in air' image but acts like collide-o-scope's collision. Deals 60 points and homes also. Different colour and longer trail.
7 Furnace: the big bro of fire-in-the-hole. It creates a circle of dirt around the enemy tank, digs a small circle in the centre of the dirt, then it is instantly filled with 2 napalms. (Dealing overall about 52 pts. x time of concentrated napalms.)
8 Baseball Bat launches a giant baseball bat. It gives the explosion kick of a sniper rifle but it only gives 40 points.
9 Vine Wall: makes a magic wall then a vine grows from the ground-up and it wraps around the wall. Next 10 Leaves form. If the vine plant is ever touched by anything, its leaves fall giving 10 each.
10 Gravity Grapes: launches a bunch of grapes which explodes like pillow fight then the fragments act like lodestones.
11 Fringe Seize: where the missile lands, a circle forms, then 10 highly explosive particles (20 points each) and 13 explosive particles (7 points each) zero-into the exact centre. The shots go through the ground and they explode like the super nova particle explosions but different colour schemes.
12 Subway: creates a floating bar or dirt aiming in the direction of your barrell. Then it fires 2 late bloomers straight ot the other end.
13 Fog-O-Phone: shoots a box-bullet. When it lands, is deploys thick clouds of point-giving fog. It lasts for about as long as star dust.
14 Hybrid Eclipse: fires a ball like colour bomb but it sends out 'heat waves' like sonic blast.
15 Cityscape: big bro of magic forest. Creates buildings instead of trees. Buildings are fatter and taller. Each building differs somewhat in size.

So there it is! Let me know how it is...:D
