Good score! The enemies neevr stop slowly speeding up, so you can't survive forever!

Sounds like you need to try one of the harder difficulty levels. :)

By the way, If you play on easy you can powerup your weapon to level 6. If you play on normal or hard you can go to level 7. BUT if you play on expert or elite you can powerup to level 8. ;)

I bought the Deluxe version last night, and it's great! I just played it and I did pretty well in the Red zone, in Normal mode, with 23 lives and the elusive 9x multiplier:

I hadn't even been killed until I got to about 2,500,000. My final score was just over 3 million. I'm proud about it. :D

I got 2.5ish million on normal/blue zone before the game crashed (the dreaded "Illegal Operation" warning)... Since then, every game that I do at least marginally well on, it crashes in the same way. :confused:

It could have something to do with my running it via Boot Camp + Windows XP...

Orange zone normal: 7,109,080 (first time). This zone gives you so many points it's not funny. :|
And yes you can't really see them anyore at around the 7 million mark.

And if there that fast at 7 mil, it is impossible to get over 1.3 mil more. I know some of these scores are lies, but this one estounds me. This person has to be the worst lier ever, or this guy is a athlete/best game player ever.
Is it possible that the payed version to have weopens that can kill hundred of enemys with less then .4 secs to shoot? And if you just kept using power-ups you would run out before you hit 1.3 mil. Are the bonus multipliers like x40 or something? This is very cufuzling to me.

O ya and pockettanksrocks im almost 99% sure your high score is fake, after closely examining the shot pattern avalible in teh back screen, look for yourself, around the two in his highest score. If its not rigged, so sorry for critisizing you, just a random thing I looked up.

22,871,870 in orange zone normal. This is only possible in the newer version as Michael removed (nearly) all the spawn patterns that causes certain death (when they are fast).

I also recorded random screenies starting around 10Mil, trying to capture the chaos that went on (though you can't see the actual speed since there's no trails on the enemies). Does anyone want to see them?
They're not too spectacular, but I didn't want to record a 2hr 48min movie.

Oh... I got to 50 lives and killed myself (in game). I got full stats (obviously), 40 power-ups at the time I killed myself, over 8,000,000 points (normal orange zone), and I say I am getting better. Before, I couldn't beat 2,000,000 on the blue zone, easy mode.

Yeah well, I actually use my powerups all the time. I started this game having fun. The maximum I got was ~75 ships and ~40 powerups somewhere just fore 10Mil mark then it went down from there.
The 22 million was reached using up everything that's left, both ships and weapons. I first ran out of weapons between 20 mil and 21 mil. Still had ~35 ships. Not that good.
