What is your absolute favorite and least favorite weapon in the game? What weapon do you feel should just be axed completely? And what kind of weapon would you like to see in the new version?

I like the Sniper weapon. ;) If you use it right, it can turn the tide of a battle. Also, it gives the hit player a big "bump". :)

(Not sure if it's my favorite though! There are a lot of cool ones.)

my favorite is probably napalm. it's old but it's one of the best!!! one weapon I feel that is cheep in a way is superstar. It involves no skill at all! A new weapon I would like to see is a weapon that hits like anvil does and then uses something like hail storm.

I think there should not be a new version. Everything in the 'new version' should be in the current Pocket Tanks but as an expansion.

I wouldn't say the superstar is cheap - granted its not hard to get a few good points with it but to get BIG points takes some skill. Trick is to have your oponent not too close to the ground or the edge of the map and then aim your shot about 5 degrees left or right. That will keep the three nodes spinning around without running into the tank and can get you a score of around 180 points.

The superstar is probably one of my favourites. The only weapons I find a bit pointless is the two tracer weapons.

Why not? Pocket tanks is it's own game... The New version will most likely Expand the idea's behind Pocket tanks... and the old Amiga game it's based on... If I remember correctly it was Scorched Tanks... Not sure on that one.... I would love to see a new one...

My favourite weapon... lol, I can't even think what my favourite weapon is! I'd probably have to go with Funnel, because with weapons like Fission Bomb used in it, you can get massive points!

My least favourite would have to be Star Dust. It has nice effects, but I dones't really score a lot of points.

The Best Weapon:: Funnel!!.
You can use Pin Cushion later, Fission Bomb, Sprinkler, Chaos, napalm, minigun, photoloes, beehave, lobomatic, power grid, fireworks,stinger and more..
some other cool weapons:: Sonic Blast, Super Star!.. star Dust if you are close to the other tank..

I second the funnel as the favorite. Nothing like trapping your opponent inside, then hitting them with a stinger, hail storm, or napalm. OUCH!

Least favorite is the glue bomb. What the !@#%$ is it FOR anyway?!?!? Maybe it stops rollers before they get to you, but I've never noticed it doing much of anything. Love the sound and animation on it though :D

One of my favorites is Hot Foot. That can do >300 if the enemy's on high ground. Also a great combo is Flying Digger/Old Faithful. When you're right on top of the other tank it can go out of control too, like Chaos Grenade or Particle Bomb.

As to the Glue bomb, it serves one other purpose besides setting off rollers. It also is a countermeasure to Bouncy Dirt.

I've gotten Fireworks to do exactly 600 when it landed just under the tank and shot all of the things up into the tank. The tank was sitting in a funnel, but the funnel didn't do much in this instance.

If you know how to shoot, you'll get over 700 points with Pin cushion.
Just put your head of your tank next to the head of oppoment's tank and shoot!

My favorite has to be the lob-o-matic. Combined with the bouncy bomb (and a little luck to boot), I've racked up over 800 points once with this combo! I know a funnel would do wonders, but you don't get the right bounces off of the bouncy dirt for this to work...

If it was designed as a countermeasure, why does it bounce, and not activate (via radial trigger or standard impact) upon hitting bouncy dirt? It seems counterintuitive...

-Even if it can negate bouncy dirt, it stands out as a thoroughly useless weapon (although better than mystery bombs)

As I said in another thread, when stuck in a funnel, aim upwards at one power for the Glue Bomb to hit oneself and thus disable said funnel...

Maybe I am doing something wrong but both the Golden Bullet and the Mass Driver almost never hit their target...

Mystery Bomb isn't that good either...

It would have been better if the MB actually was one of the other weapons but you never know which one it would be, sorta like a Random Bomb...

Golden Bullet is partially random and Mass Driver is totally random. :)
