This horse is obviously faster. It is definately not half the size of a real horse, more like 1/3 of a real horse. Half the power and one third the size would be faster than a normal horse for sure.

if it was the full weight, i would be right, because if it is full weight, it would have developed much stronger legs, like non said, but only to carry it to normal speed..

if it was exactly half the weight, i would still be right.

but seeing as it is about 1/3 the weight, bert is right.

1. Open up Photoshop.

2. Draw a little picture.

3. Make sure you have the Layer window up (go to the window tab), and right click on your layer in the window (it should be Background) and click 'Duplicate Layer'.

4. Edit it to make a different image.

5. Repeat 3 & 4 until you have a decent animation in your Layers. Use the eye icon to view different layers.

6. Ctrl+Shift+M (Edit in ImageReady.)

7. On the window tab, check 'Animation'. There's a > arrow on the right side of the window. Click it, then click Make Frames from Layers. You can pick from a lot of options. You can switch the frames if you want, pick delay, etc, etc. If you wanted to delete a frame, you should have done it in Photoshop by right-clicking the Layer on the Layer window and clicking Delete. Don't leave empty layers, it screws the whole thing. If you are ready with your animation...v v v

8. On the File tab, click 'Save Optimized As'. It saves your animation as a GIF. I upload with ImageShack, personally, if you wonder.

9. You're welcome.

Yeah, what I did is I had the sprite for Balrog, and I saved various versions of him with the RGB values switched around - I used IfranView (http://www.irfanview.com/) for that. Then I made a .gif with UnFreez (http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/).

You can do exactly the same things with a IMAGING PROGRAM that has LAYERS, make each frame a layer, and then save as a .GIF, it should ask you to choose between two options, flatten image or save as animation, oviously choose save as animation. tweek the frame thingies and save.
