Gif images?

I was making a new avitar with game maker gif editor and after i added about 20 frames to my old avitar i saved it and it only plays to the end of the original frames then freezes. Is there a special way you have to format/save the gif for it to work in web browsers?

The free version is only good for... I think 15 uses. But if you don't close it it's fine. Besides, it's easy to reinstall.

What I like about it is that there is no frame limit in the free version, and it doesn't put that stupid text on every GIF you make.

The game maker image editor (not gif editor) has all gifs it makes loop only once.

Yuk, unfreeze is horrible when compared to easy gif. You cant preview it to make slight adjustments, the interface isnt as friendly, I just dont like it. I would rather keep installing EGA.

GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/windows/) can be used, too. Though it is worth noting that you will need to merge all the frames together into the entire image, using one frame in each "layer" and then saving it as an GIF (with animations checked). As I accumulate more experience with GIMP, I will be posting a walkthough for those needing help with GIMP. (Mike recommended me this program when I made the Geometry boards in MS Paint)

Again, the UI (User Interface) isn't that easy to get along with.

Yea, I use gimp too, and it has a horrible interface. But hey, it can be compared to Paintshop if you can use it well. Keep me updated.

I've propped a sample GIF using GIMP. Be careful. Its frames animate slow. Delays are specified in milliseconds.
