Some of this information has been previously mentioned, however I wanted to make a complete post about my impression of Pocket Tanks.
Suggestions:
Smarter AI particularly line of sight weapons and moving away from barriers. With AI any jump weapon automatically wins the game in most circumstance because they are not knowledgeable enough to know that moving next to an opponent with color bomb, ant hill, particle bomb, and many others is huge points.
Weapon selection and/or being able to completely get rid of particular weapons would be great. However, just a button on the weapon selection screen to re-randomize the weapons if they are not to your liking would be great.
I've always thought that a version of the game that took away the point system and added a power meter would be pretty cool. Especially a live version of the game in which players could move or fire at any time until one player was without power.
Cheats:
Mouse scroll moving: You can move as far as you wish with the scroll button on the mouse in the PC version. Just move over the move button and start scrolling.
Fire numerous weapons in the same turn: Put the mouse over the move button, press spacebar to fire, scroll the mouse one move, and press space bar again. This can be done to fire up to four times in one turn because you only have four moves.
Keep weapons that have been fired: Open the weapon menu and select the weapon you wish to fire. Press spacebar to fire the weapon and then move the scroll bar to a weapon you do not want. This will retain the weapon just fired and get rid of the other one.
