Um...this is a question that COMPLETELY violates my patience virtue. But when exactly will the network play come out? This is what I'm looking forward to the most...If no one knows exact dates, that will be o.k. I just hope it will come out before chrismas!!! Please help.:o

Actually Zwaken123 if you REALLY wanted to play internet connection you could :rolleyes: . Through Microsofts remote assistance you and the person you selected to also control your computer could play the game against eachother. :) It's not exactly the best way to do it but it could work...

I know precisely when it will come out, sort of. It's just a matter that it's being kept secret for some very good reasons. You'll find out.

We were told this a while back by the blitwise folks, and they are still working on it.;)

We might consider giving a date for network play being ready after we're done with our latest round of releases, i.e. the new game, the PT update, the SDXB update, etc.

And yes, the network play upgrade will be free.

Question, if a person hosting a game has all the weapons, and a person wanting to play on his server doesn't. Can he use weapons he doesn't have?

I'm guessing that it will be designed so that all members can only play with weapons that all of them have.

I doubt it. Just like every other online game, people with all the updates can only play with ppl that also have their game updated, there might be a server for players with just the free packs, and servers for those of us that have all of the weapon packs.

well it is easy. Chat to do so. Let player A be host. player B be the guest. A make a list of weapon shop and B start to say "I want Mega Reaction". A said "I chose Cannon Ball"... and when game starts, A can give B screenshots and B say "move 1 >>>, weapon Mega Reaction, angle 84, power 96, fire!" then screenshots...

Network play... Well, the obvious solution would be to remove the weapons the other player doesn't have, but then that would a a little cruel to play against someone without any expansion packs. If you just gave a "trial" to the guy without packs, he'd be playing with weapons he has never used... I'm willing to bet this is the reason it's not out yet. This is indeed a tough question. *ponders*

That'll definetly bring out loads of sore losers. My friend only plays if he can have two superstars or he'll say I cheat. So, If a sore loser has to face a kid with 30 weapons only, then the sore loser (who has 165 weapons) won't play. I know tons of PT fans who aren't on this forum that will go berserk if they don't get what they want.
