Buy amiga Forever (http://www.amigaforever.com/)... Then simply load the file into WinUAE as a floppy disk...
You could also download WinUAE... then start searching the internet for the Various Kickstart Files, and the matching Workbench files... Which are rather difficult to find unless you look in the right places...

Have you tried Bittorrent? I'm sure someone is seeding something useful...

What? Scorched tanks? or Bittorrent...
I'm using windows 2000, and Yes, I have a working copy of Scorched Tanks on this computer... Have you ever emulated a Super Nintendo game on your computer? it's the same thing... Emulate the Amiga on your PC...

Is scorched tanks a completely different game than pocket tanks?
Yep... Although there are alot of Similarities...
The big difference is obviously the Graphics... Which I could compare somewhat to... Super Nintendo...
Several of the weapons in Pocket tanks are inspired by Scorched tanks... Many of them are taken from Scorched tanks... While they look alot better now...
Another Big difference is that the game is up to 4 players... Whether it be 4 humans or 4 computers if you feel like sitting out... Another one is that the game isn't restricted to one screen... so there's alot more area to Blow up...
You also have to pay for the weapons you use that round... you start out with a bit of Cash to buy weapons and Shields... Then you earn more by Damaging or Destroying you opponents... Then a little more depending on your rank at the end of the Match...

where can I get an amiga emulator.
http://www.winuae.net/
But it won't do anything without the Kickstart and Workbench files...

Unless you have a working Amiga Emulator... there's really no point in Downloading it...

Um what is 1.00b and 1.00c? Are these updates for Pocket Tanks for the Windows version or Macintosh or both and if I need them where do I get them? Lastly what do they do.
Was It Me?

They are the previous updates for Pocket Tanks... If you purchased Pocket Tanks anytime recently, you should have the most recent version...
If not, you can e-mail techsupport@blitwise.com and provide the full name and e-mail address that you used to purchase it and they will get you the newest version.

I have already said that I didn't buy it because I don't have a credit card and my parents won't put theirs on the net. So can I still get them or are they really that neccessary?

what kind of sick twisted person would make an emulator as confusing as this?!

WinUAE? It's emulating a Computer... not a console... Computers are complicated... Even Dosbox is Difficult without the right software...
Dosbox? All you need to do to use that is download it.;)

Okay guys, may I suggest WinFellow (http://fellow.sourceforge.net/new_version/index.php)?
Its a lot easier to use, I often play the 'Dizzy' games on it, it works for Scorched Tanks too, easier to set up then that over complex emulator WinUAE.
(I really started something up with this whole 'Scorched Tanks' thing, didn't I? Oh well, no pressure for Mike to make a game uncannily like Scorched Tanks for PC...)

Yeah, striked up a lot of talk, ain't it?
Whoops
Its just a part of my memories...
All I really want is the shop back, the shop was awesome, the different types of shields etc...
And it was more serious looking and sounding.
Also pile-drivers and crimson floods rocked.:D
Oh about DosBox, thats bloody ridiculous to use. I can't work that out.
But for most popular dos FPS, source ports are availble...

Personally, I don't like Winfellow... WinUAE seems much simpler to me...

DosBox is Easy... With a Frontend... Such as D-fend (http://members.home.nl/mabus/)... It can set up individual Profiles for each game... You only have to set each game up once... and it puts all the options in plane sight...
How can you crown yourself emulator king is you can't even figure out DosBox? >_<

Alright.... calm down... You've gotten past the first step... There are several more to go... The problem is the next one is illegal unless you pay for the files you need... When you downloaded WinUAE and WinFellow... What you got is more or less a shell... You still need the various Rom files...

What's the point of complaining if your never going to play it?
Anyway... The primary way to play these games today... outside of Actually finding an amiga is some software called Amiga Forever... All the files you will need are included...

I think he meant "I'll never play this game" not "I never play this game", becuase he's bad in English (writes in his sig.) . :)
So I think it was kind of hopeless post that he fears he'll never play it . ;)
