Lots of the games I play are ones I find on the internet, whether they be free games to download or cheap, simple games like Pocket Tanks. I'd like to make a list for everyone else to see.

Free Games

Bloboats
A physics game in which you control a little boat navigating the rough, unforgiving seas. It has catchy music, and it's a fun concept, but it gets quite difficult in the later levels.

De Blob
This game is sort of similar to Katamari Damacy. Rather than rolling everything up into a ball, you just roll the blob around trying to add color to specific points in the game. You roll over people to change your blob's color, and just roll into buildings to color them, or specific markers to color landmarks.

Plasma Pong
It's Pong taken to the next level! It's a lot like regular pong, but the paddles shoot plasma that can put a force on the ball and push it to the other side. If nothing else, this is a game that's a lot of fun to look at. =P

Pogo Sticker
This one's not much, but it's good to waste a little time. You control a little guy on a pogo stick, and have to navigate several levels without stopping or taking too much damage.

Rocky The Monkey
An addictive game from Ragdoll Softworks. They make some good games, but you have to pay for most of them. This is a free one though, and it involves a rope-shooting ragdoll monkey trying to climb as high as possible while being sure to eat plenty of bananas. Many people complain that this one has difficult controls, but I've never considered them a problem. See what you think.

Rolling Assault
It's only one level long, but it's a pretty cool game with some nice physics. It's far from finished though, since getting killed doesn't really have an effect on you, and neither does reaching the end of the level. There's also no way to quit, so when you want to stop playing, you have to actually hit Alt + F4.

Ski Stunt Simulator / Ski Stunt Extreme
Ski Stunt Simulator can provide hours of entertainment. There are several different levels, each one providing an interesting goal, or at least an interesting way to make your little ragdoll skier crash.

Porrasturvat - Stair Dismount
If you're a fan of ragdoll physics, this is the game for you. The whole point of Stair Dismount is to push a ragdoll guy off a staircase and do as much damage to him as possible. More hours of entertainment.

Rekkaturvat - Truck Dismount
If you thought Stair Dismount was good, you'll probably like Truck Dismount even better. If you didn't like Stair Dismount, then... Well, move on to the next game. Truck Dismount is basically a simulation of a truck crashing into a wall with a person inside, with optional ramps, variable location of the ragdoll, speed of the truck... Lots of editing is possible here.

Trackmania Nations
It might seem like an ordinary racing game, but the tracks in TN are pretty out-of-this-world. They get pretty wild, and online play can be especially fun. There's even a track editor to go along with it.

Cave Story
This is one AMAZING game. It's a lot like an old side-scrolling shooter you'd see on the SNES or something. Cave Story has lots of good action in it, crazy boss battles, and even a great storyline with multiple endings. I've played through it twice already just to see different endings. I consider this one a must-download.

N
That's right, it's just called N. This is one of the most addictive, but probably the most INSANELY difficult games ever made. N may make you break things, so be warned. It's really simple and easy to learn, but it has about 500 levels, plus user-made levels and a level editor. The later levels can be downright brutal. Do not play if you have a short temper.

Falling Sand Game
Some of you may have played Hell of Sand or a similar Java game on the internet. Well, now some fans have made a much more advanced game, with tons more materials to use, and it's a downloadable offline version. For those of you who've never heard of it, it's quite literally a sandbox game. You can draw walls and stuff on the screen, and add things like water, salt, plants, and fire. It's basically just to see what'll happen.

Kumoon
This one's a quirky little game. It's a physics game in which you play as a bird with guns trying to move all the blocks in a room without touching them. You're allowed to fire your gun once per level, and after that, it starts taking off points. That's when you have to push a white block into the other blocks to turn THEM white.

Mono
Mono's a cool little shoot-'em-up in which you pilot a little ship around the screen and shoot at blobs that come in three colors. Each time you kill or break up a blob, it'll leave a spot of color on the screen. The goal is to get the whole screen colored. It's quite difficult later on, as things tend to get very hectic with lots of blobs on the screen running around and shooting at you. I've never completed it.

Non-free games, free demos

Armadillo Run
This is a game with some really good physics. It's sort of reminiscent of The Incredible Machine. The game involves puzzles that require you to get the "armadillo" from a certain point to a blue portal. The materials at your disposal are metal sheets, iron rods, ropes, cloth, and (in the full version) rubber, elastic rope, and rockets.

Break Quest
Probably one of the best Breakout games ever made. Each level of Break Quest is unique, which is hard to pull off when there are 100 levels. Some of them just feature ordinary bricks, but others have features such as ropes and sticks binding the bricks to a certain spot. You'll also find lots of powerups for the ball or the paddle.

Ragdoll Masters
Perhaps the best game to come from Ragdoll Software. This is a fairly simple 2-D fighting game with ragdoll stick figures. You try to hit the other ragdoll's head or body with your hands and feet. If your hand hits their hand, or your foot hits their foot, or your hand hits their foot (you get the idea), then it's a block, and neither of you is damaged. It has 2-player modes in which you can either fight a friend or fight with a friend. The levels will have you fighting groups of people, or giants, and even robots in the full game. It's only $10, so I say it's a pretty good deal.

Super Stealball
This game, which has obvious similarities to Ragdoll Masters, involves each player trying to keep possession of a ball. You gain possession just by touching the ball, at which point it turns the same color as your player. If you can keep the ball longer than the other player(s), then you win. This one's another $10 game.

Toribash
Until just recently, Toribash was a totally free game. Now, unfortunately, they're requiring payment (and quite a bit at that). You can still download the demo though. It's an excellent, but complicated game. It's like a turn-based fighting game with fully poseable fighters. You make moves by extending, contracting, relaxing, or holding individual muscles or joints. It takes some getting used to, but eventually you can make some pretty impressive things happen.

Actually, the other ending's events aren't different when you don't take part, you're just not there.
The ending with Balrog is the 'real' one, since you only get it if you complete the story instead of fleeing before. Play the game again and go to hell! You know what I mean XD

Arrow keys are movement, z or ctrl are shoot, and x or shift use one of your bombs. For the menu, just select with up/down and pick your selection with z. Esc quits the game.

A game called Shelled just came out.

It looks pretty cool, sorta like a free (yes its free) 3d version of pocket tanks with turtles as tanks.
