Ahoy, folks. I just thought I'd use my first post to show off a hobby I took up aboot 4 months ago. =P I don't know if there are any experienced pixel-art makers here who could blow me out of the water, but maybe I'll at least get some fans or something, eh?

The first thing I ever drew was a can of Mountain Dew, which happened to be sitting on my desk at the time.

Next I just tried to make a bigger can of Mountain Dew. I didn't think the original had enough detail, so i tried a bigger version.

After that, I drew a juice box. It was pretty simple at first, so I also made an upgraded version of it.

Also, I got bored one day in my web page design class, so I started on an entirely new Juice Sprite from scratch.

Then I drew a sword. It's nothing special, but I don't think it's bad.

Then came my Modvark. For those who don't know, he's a character from an old computer game called Oddballz. I included a screenshot from the game so people know how he's meant to look.

One of my first really good drawings is a character from a kids' show I watched about 14 years ago. It was called The Littl' Bits (Or Belfy e Lillibit to most other countries) Anyway, the character's name is Lillabit... Or Belfy if you're anywhere but the U.S.

That one would have been my avatar for everything, but people would've thought I'm a girl. =P Fortunately, I found a good picture of the male character, and I made a pixel drawing of him. A shrunken version of his head is now my avatar. Now, the picture I found featured both of the main characters, so naturally I couldn't stop with just one of them. I made Willibit (or Lillibit) first, then moved on to Lillabit (or Belfy).

And last but not least, what I'm working on constantly. I intend for this to eventually become a really big pixel art city. When I'm bored, I just add a little bit at a time to this drawing. Right now I'm about finished with the city's park, the park's parking lot, a building, and that's about it.

Dang those are good! I sometimes enjoy doing pixel art, but it's not the best.;)

because in that game all the buildings are kind of slanted and the game also has the same color variations as that picture, when i first saw his pic i thought he did take a picture of that game.

You will find that your building and the buildings in the game are surprisingly similar. ;)

Something has been pissing me off a bit lately. :mad: Nearly everyone I know who's seen the picture of the Littl' Bits is a freakin' pedophile! They always make some kind of remark involving Lillabit and sex. I try to explain to them how she's a frickin' KID, not to mention three inches tall and fictional, but nobody seems to care. They're just like "lol, sexy."
