I'm just wishing you all a merry Christmas.
Just don't let this turn into this (http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=341100&hl=) or this (http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=341277&hl=). Happy Holidays :)!!!
Haha thanks I guess.
And btw I was gonna say that I was jewish if it wasn't for that thing you posted below.

If you wanted to talk about Hanukkah (I hope I spelled it right), that's fine. The thing that stinks though is that it already ended.

"Happy Christmas" is a British saying for our "Merry Christmas".
Hey, maybe Drow Elf is British...

Did you happen to know...That Santa Clause is coming to town?
I have that same jug -o- Eggnog Bert...
does that eggnog bottle say kroger? in that little blue circle.
I have that same jug -o- Eggnog Bert...
Sweet :). I just picked out a random google image pic of eggnog. The sad part is that I have never had eggnog before! What is it comparable to, milk? żEs bueno?
Let me put it this way:
One Has Not lived Until they have tried Eggnog.
If your lactose intolerant, it's OK, because One sip is all you need to get the full flavor.

Eggnog tastes like crap.
Can someone describe the flavor please :)?

OY! I was born, raised, and currently reside in California. I don't get why phrasing is traditional.
Bert, are you Jewish? Even so get some eggnog.
Si, es muy bueno. Neccesitas probar.
Blue
What kind of eggnog tastes like crap? If it's that fat free organic junk then get some other kind, that stuff is nasty.
No, I am not Jewish. Still no description of it :(.

It's hard to explain...
Here's a better question:
What religion do you celebrate?
Samail
12-25-2007, 03:44 AM
That's not a better question at all! Eggnog is a vital part of the holidays!
...And a flavor that I cannot describe. Just get a small carton of it. Regular stuff. You'll be happy afterwards.
I don't really have a religion, but I celebrate all the major Christian holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween (is that Christian?). I don't have a religion, I don't go to church, yet I celebrate all of the holidays :).

Same here.
Holidays are holidays, unless they have deeper meaning to you.
And dude! It's almost December 25th! Christmas is not complete without the noggy goodness.
EDIT:
Uhh, when I typed in Christmas and accidentally spelled it like this: Chirstamds, the first option on the spell checker menu was Bloodthirsty. Then "Thirsted", "Thirster" (is that even a word?), "Thirster's", and "Thirstier".
I will have to go to the store and pick some up tomorrow. I feel deprived!

Hate to break it to you, but tomorrow is Christmas. Very few stores will be open. I found a recipe (http://www.eggnogrecipe.net/diamond-eggnog-recipe.html) though.
Eggnog tastes like crap.
One of two things:
You are an uncivilised, unwashed hethan
Or more likely:
You've had some crappy eggnog.
Good eggnog is hard to find.
However, Too find the good stuff, Their are three things You have to look for:
1) Color
Good eggnog should be Tan with a Noticable yellow tint.
If it looks more yellow than tan, it has to much Tumeric In it, and will have a funky aftertast, and may seem bitter.
If it's compleatly tan, with no yellow, Than it has to little or no tumeric. It will still be edible, but will tast... off...
2)Speckles
Good eggnog should have plenty of visable "Speckels" in it, but not so much it's compleatly filled with them. These Speckels are nutmeg, And are a key ingrediant in egg nog.
To much nutmeg will have a strong aftertast, May be spicy, and will have a generaly unpleasing flavor.
To little nutmeg or none at all, will throw the other flavors out of balence, and the eggnog will be Bland and unimpressive, or bitter and nasty, depending on how much tumeric is in it.
3) Thickness
Eggnog should be thick and creamy. Part of the Eggnog experiance is it's utter thickness. without this thickness the flavor cannot be fully enjoyed. also, if it's watery, Than chances are it probably won't tast to good because watery eggnog is eggnog that someone cut corners in, and they probably skimped on the nutmeg and tumeric.
Lastly, it is possible to get overly spiced eggnog in general. (I once had a really powerfull bottle of promise land) You can tell by an unpleasnt bitterness coupled with nasty after tast, in an other wise fine looking bottle. To fix this, Just stir in a little milk. The higher fat the better. It will dilute the spices a bit and make it more paletable...
As you can see, Eggnog is a very delicate drink, and Corperate Automation will murder it sometimes...
As for flavor...
There is no other to compare it to.
You'll have to go buy some and try it for yourself.
You can make it to, but unpasterised eggs can be dangerous...
Also, many people will add rum to eggnog. This is called "Spiced" or "Spiked (Obviously)" Eggnog.
The Rum is not neccisary However.
Drow Elf
12-25-2007, 05:02 AM
Why/how do you know all that?
I love eggnog.
And I have had many a nasty bottle.
So Instead of throwing it out, I would go to the spice rack and Add stuff...

I got ya'll beat.
I got a shirt, a pair of pants and two more shirts.
I then recieved an orange, a second orange and three pieces of chocolate.
Superbad.
Two seat covers (I can't afford racing seats as I want a Muscle car).

Basically, my Christmas sucked; I found a 100 dollar check from my Grandparents, but as I'm saving up for a $5,000 car, that doesn't get me very far.

Lincoln logs are for s'peds. Most are too big to be eaten, so... Orphan's don't get toys; everyone knows kids with no parents don't deserve a happy Christmas.
