Hi, all guests of forums.blitwise.com! I'm sorry if I'm wrong in posting this stuff in this "General Talk" category, please move it*to another category..
I want to introduce VPN - service. It provides secure and anonymous work on web. The idea of VPN (Virtual Private Network) is that all your connections are made through our server. You use ip-address given by our server instead of your real ip-adress. Your security is guaranted by our protected channel that prevents your traffic from unauthorized users. The cost of our service is 30$ PPTP (40$ OpenVPN) per month with unlimited traffic. VPN does not effect internet connection speed. The payment transaction can be made by E-gold electron payment. On the question VPN connection, contact by e-mail: Ieatbabies@gmail.com

Its not a bot I don't think... just a spammer.

On topic, dont you think your payment is a little low? How do you afford it?

Eeh, I'm not sure spammers advertise that much. They usually just say stupid things.

Hes offline now...
He affords it because he has no registered domain name, therefor he has no yearly fee to the IEEE.
However, He is also a Scammer, not just a spammer, because he does not know what a VPN is.
VPN is a hamachi like service, where computers connect to eachother over the web as if they where connected directly.
What He's "Selling" is a closed proxy. These allow you to surf the web with A different IP, he also claims it's anonymouse, so it has encryption and junk. Closed anonymouse Proxies are used for Added privacy, the transmission of sensitive or illegal information, to get around school, organisational, or govenment blocks and security measures, and to connect to any site in any contry your nation has embargoed or is at war with, without you getting the cia at your door.
His however, since he has no clue what he's talking about, probably doesn't exist.

Skix has it right. Don't you guys remember the Hamachi online play vpn thread?
I can't think of any good reasons why we would need this service (assuming you would actually get it, and not this scam-tastic deal he's offering).
prateek.singla
12-15-2007, 12:27 AM
Exactly! He is just trying to sell an over-priced software that does exactly what Hamachi does for free.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 01:16 AM
Kind of. He is scamming people by trying to sell you a non-existent "closed proxy" as Skix put it.
There are also open proxies, not so good for pertinant data security, but they can anonomise and encrypt data. they are usualy random IP's like 135.523.6.77 (Not Real) that are actualy a proxy made for a company in most cases, that have been found by "Proxy Hunters" and made public. there are also web based proxys, such as hidebehind, fartpeepee, asdflol, myspaceatschool and hidemyass.com they are random sites that you can go to to get behind school blocks and such, and are made for such. Keep in mind you will get in trouble if caught be it at school or work, but they can be cool sometimes. I mentioned some real ones because you can't use them to post on this website.
Drow Elf

The web-based are usually different though, as they can use redirection and frames to go around blocks, depending on how complicated the blocking program is.

Rex Nex

You know, its nice to see Brian do that sometimes. He looks so.... awsome to us, we forget he is a human with a sence humor.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 06:31 PM
Why would one forget he has a sense of humor? I mean look at his signature!
i heard, if you stare at his signature for long enough, you get distracted. it only works if you look at the sig for as long as you should really be working.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 07:00 PM
The sig is based of D&D, which I happen to play, which is why I think it's funny.
FYI, most of the time I'm online, I'm supposed to be working. Like now. I'm supposed to be working on an English essay.
you have no life. NO. life.
i'm supossed to be working on my science project, but at least i'm 3/4 done.

I have a life. I might not choose to use all of it well. But I have offline friends, ones that I know in person.
Speak for yourself. 1,683 posts. How much time on the forum: >1000 hours is probably a good guess. Then look at all the other super stars... and focus on blue_moon.
I never got my question answered about why your avatar is a kitten with a sniper.
i worked hard for being a superstar. don't diss the privalige.
if you want to know the meaning of my avy, answer questions i will ask you over the week.
1) what used to be my favorite word to say when i was a noob? (nobody but drow answer this)
you should get an avy. go to user cp, all the way on the left side of the navi. bar, and got to the side bar it'll be close to edit sig.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 07:17 PM
I don't go back that far! I'll have to research it.
I want an avy, but I can't find the right one. I want one like Rex's, but the person would have dark, dark, blue skin, white hair, purple eyes, pointy ears, and 2 scimitars. I haven't found anything like it yet.
then make it. i make tons of things, like smilies, Weapon icons, ships for neon wars, ect. in paint and ultimate paint by simply pixelizing them.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 07:29 PM
I suck at computer art with detail.
Does the avy have anything to do with the annoying little dog that yips a lot?
Still haven't found the answer to your question.
HA!!!
you were here when we were talking about terriers and how annoying they are?

I agree. "Get a life" is one of the dumbest phrases in existence. It only works if the person actually is wasting their life. (ie: The "gangsta" people.)
The number of posts simply shows how much conversation you have. It is also an indicator of how long the person has been a member. I happen to have been here close to the day the forums were created. blue_moon came later, and just likes to talk.

@ Samail: I doubt this forum is the only thing you do, which is why I focused on blue moon in that post.
@ blue: No offense. Just making a point.
@ ekoz:
Yeah, and the only use for them is throwing/launching them.
I like small dogs. If they bark too much, I want to drop kick them. I am really good a drop kicking stuff to the point that I accidentally punted my friend's soccer ball onto the roof of his 3 story house.
I hate big dogs. Another one of my friend has a Rhodesian Ridge back, which were bred for lion hunting, and that dog hates me. It tries to attack me through doors when it gets the chance. It is about 3.5 feet tall on four legs and ways almost 200 pounds.
er...your screwed?
anyway, i have necroed ekag's smily depot, an old thread of mine. if you see any good picks you like for your avy, just use them, but remember to give credit to whoever made the pic.

My English teacher wants me to understand the English in this 200 year old book... It's so stupid.

My cat was sleeping on the phone until my dad called. I haven't seen a cat run so fast before, and I've seen a cat chase after a chihuahua. Why does that (the aforementioned dog type) have to be so hard to spell?
@ Ekoz:
What does "necroed" mean?
I have noticed that as a noob you used a smiley in almost every post.
The dog is put outside every time I go to the house.
to necro a thread means to post in a thread that has long since died out. for example, me posting in that thread when the last post was months ago.
and yes, i did use smilies quite excessivly. oh, well. :D
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 07:58 PM

Was the smiley thing the answer or no?
no. smilies are not words. good guess, though.

Wow. Some sort of planetary alignment going on today. I'm supposed to be doing a powerpoint for chemistry 20, AND I'm at work.
That or we're all just lazy.
Heh, that's like my brother's birthday card this year. It looks like a comic book.
"THE PROCRASTINATOR!
Here to save the day... eventually.
Procrastinators unite... later!"
Yes, "bumping" is to move a thread back to the top of the list. A "necro bump" is reviving a lost thread.
...I wish someone could necro the Randomness thread...
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 08:10 PM
Make a new one. Or I will in a bit, perhaps. I'm good at being random. Does that make sense?
blue_moon
12-15-2007, 08:10 PM
It's locked. Brian should unlock it. It was better.
@ Drow: Actually, there are two. The flaming/screaming thread and the random conversations thread. One is still alive, one could be necro'd.
Samail
12-15-2007, 08:12 PM
Making a new one just wouldn't be the same!
The last one was closed because people were getting stupid rather than random. There's a line.
No rules. Just be sensible.

They could unlock it, we are mature now.
I have a question. Do I underline or put the " things around novel titles? My teacher will probably drop off the face of the earth if I don't do it right.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 08:16 PM
Depends. What exactly are you supposed to be doing?
Random is like a lot of Blue's posts. Of the top of my head here are three. They aren't exact, I'm justing paraphrasing from memory.
Wow, I contradicted myself 3 times in the above paragraph... Weird. I think I'll write a book on physics now.
I smell bacon.
I think I'll go light a scented napkin.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. It's supposed to snow tonight, then ice over like the sun.
Anyway, I am writing an essay and I need to correctly write Great Expectations, which is a novel. The guy who wrote it died at least 100 years ago, so here's the whole book:
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Great_Expectations
And the wikipedia page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Expectations
All those articles do is cap the name, and that's it.
Drow Elf

In the essay, typically one underlines book titles or italicizes them. That is a word. My spell checker says so.
I am writing about A Yellow Raft in Blue Water.
YAY! IM A BIG SHOT!
Samail
12-15-2007, 08:30 PM
Holy crap your a Big Shot! How long did that take?
*looks after posing this*
Yeah, Titles are Generally Written like this.
My English A20 class did To Kill a Mocking Bird.
EDIT: Big Shot in 10 days.

I think cats don't have the same sense of pride as people do. Like, if I just started scratching myself in school, I'd obviously be frowned upon. Cats are not frowned upon, so they do it.
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 09:53 PM
I've seen people scratch themselves like animals. It's disturbing.
If my hand or arm itches, I just gnaw on it for a few seconds. (And by the way, nothing sends a "back away" message better than chewing on a random body part.)
Drow Elf
12-15-2007, 11:43 PM
A better way to get people to run away? You bet! Throwing mad skunks at people!
or stabbing a random body part. that works better. but only if your emo. because, by then, you'll be used to the blade and you won't bleed to death.
Drow Elf
12-18-2007, 12:31 AM
I still like my skunk idea. Gets more people's attention.
er...ok, you walk into public and start randomly stabbing yourself. see how much attention YOU get.
