I got like a rank 8 or 9 at a game called Artic SS, same with Death By Hinge... I suck at most others... try Avalanche, Partical Blaster, Death By Hinge, Throw me (Check Throw Me Glitch, second one down on youtube.com ) and the other ragdoll like games... or phisics games... I like those genres.

2-leave room
3-no comment, not for polite company

It couldn't really be banned from TV, since it isn't a TV show. That's a clip from a movie, and since R-rated movies can be on television and that's a PG or PG-13 at most, it wouldn't be anything that couldn't air.

I think what people don't realize (since it wasn't clarified in that animation) is that Mark Twain didn't write a story about THE Satan, but about an angel in the same family. There are a few different versions though, since he never finished it and started over a few times.

It couldn't really be banned from TV, since it isn't a TV show. That's a clip from a movie, and since R-rated movies can be on television and that's a PG or PG-13 at most, it wouldn't be anything that couldn't air.
I was going to edit mine, as I was watching the rest of what I found out to be a movie. That is probably the only good part, and the part where Eve eats the apple and everything dies. It's too religious though. Even though it put a huge twist on it, it was still too religious.

I usually dont have much time, seeing as I usually have things to do each day, plus my various 2d ship projects(about a dozen at current count) plus a handful of requests from fellow pixel artists(no, I dont take requests, unless submitted to me via pm over at http://www.phpbbplanet.com/shipyard/index.php?sid=182c1b803461103bba971212ba135dcc&mforum=shipyard , I use the same user name there), currently I have a full plate, so I wont be considering any requests for the time being, (I only work battlestar designs, I'm afraid).

sabre, I did the side view for, apache and aegis are modified and customized ships, and the intruder class, I came up with the concept model, and entrusted the actual execution of her to some trusted fellow pixel artsts, and the ares, is a totally original chop job style build.

I take it some of you are impressed?

p.s. I should point out that these are inspired by the show.

I Second that. I've used Paint.net since it was a simple replacement for MS Paint. It has become SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more than that now.
It's what I use for all my editing/messing around.

I find the newer versions need more from the computer, but are still usable on even the oldest of systems that I have seen, as long as one is careful.

yes its the same program, just the older versions lack some of the refinements introduced in newer versions.

the beta versions are worthless, so skip those.

edit:
its even compatible on windows vista, so take heart for those unlucky to have bought a new computer recently only to get stuck with vista.

also, its possible to go to the computer's manufacturer's website, or the site where you bought the computer and track down Windows XP drivers for the hardware, then all thats needed is a copy of XP, preferably XP pro, since no activation is needed for that one.

a completed clean install is then quite literally an hour or two away.

Vista really isn't bad. Sure, XP is great. Just turn off Vista's UAC and the security thing. It's good for regular people who use the computer just for word documents, but not for games as it unregisters them a lot.

I have to agree with blue. I don't want to start anything, but I got my new computer for Christmas and it came with Vista Home Premium installed on it. I have had absolutely NO problems with it. I'm not a big computer gamer, so that might be why it's fine for me. I DID disable the UAC because I agree that it is a bit annoying. Other than that, I really like it and I haven't had any problems. Hope that helps you a little Sam.

my main concern is getting a computer that has crappy performance because its OEM failed to give it something it needs to run vista effectively, say, a graphics card with sufficient muscle for the home premium or ultimate editions, or a minimum of 2gb of ram.

XP is really just familliar and better for gamers. it's not as if vista secretly steals your soul little by little everytime you log on. vista, i agree, has some problems, but it's NEW NEW NEW NEW, NEW NEW NEW NEW!!! it's not like anybody ever nailed something perfect on the first try. they'll get it good eventually, but until then, i'll stick with XP. they will sooner than later fix the game compatibility problem.

The computer I have it on is a 15.4" notebook running on 1gb of RAM(I plan to upgrade this ASAP), the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55, and an NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 graphics card. Like I said before, I have had no problems and it hasn't shown any signs of being slow. I agree that with XP installed, it would probably run faster, but I don't think it would be much of a difference.:rolleyes:

Well my computer will have a quad something or other processor, and 3GB of RAM. That ought to do it.
My main decision is whether to get a copy of XP PRO (PRO, so that I don't have to do the stupid call Microsoft and get validated thing) or just stick with Vista and tough it out.
I'll definitely try it. We'll see what happens.

But I digress. Back to weird crap!

4GB RAM is best, not only because most of the time it is all your computer can take, but they don't cost much to begin with. When buying 3GB, (especially from HP) they usually give you two 1 GB and two .5 GB, so upgrading to 4GB costs twice as much. Also, get a good graphics card.

And don't forget Vista SP 1 is coming soon, with fixes to half of this stuff.

Well another concern is compatibility with other computers.

I'm not too concerned with the card at the moment. That was another decision. The other had a really good card, but slower processor. You can always upgrade cards easily enough. Processors are a pain.
I'm sure the card that comes with will should suffice until later.
