My how things have evolved...

From the early Text bast artillery games to some of the earlier PC beginnings... Gorilla is an Early DOS example...

Followed by Both Tank wars and Scorched Earth to name a couple...

The only thing Windows could Muster in 1990 was Bang Bang...

Those were followed by a game that if I'm not mistaken was meant to look and act Exactly like Scorched earth... but was intended for Amiga fans... Scorched Tanks...

Which ended up being far superior to Scorched Earth...

Now We have come a few step further...

Oddly enough, 1998 yeilded an obscure Dos game under the name Pedro the Tank.... I'd get a screenshot... but My computer has a difficult time attempting to emulate Dos... while my old computer that long ago hit the scrapyard would play it fine...

One of the more recent ones is an attempt at updating Scorched Earth known as Charred Dirt...

Or how about Warheads

I would add Pocket tanks to this... but we all know how perfect it is...

There are many other iterations in the Artillery umm Genre... but this is only a small peice of it... Maybe I should add Genocide... or Mortor Mayhem... Maybe Rampart or Scorched3d... or even Worms... but that would take up space... or atleast More space and time than I feel like putting into this right now...
