A Copy of Neon Wars?

I was reading my latest issue of Nintendo Power when I stumbled upon a poster with the title "Geometry Wars - Galaxies (http://www.nintendo.com/gamemini?gameid=beHqT_3wSx4cZSP_SCvpJfEN088kDs9V&)". When I look at it, the ships/enemies looks strikingly similar to the sprites of Neon Wars...:confused: :shocked:

I've known this for a while. There's an article for Neon Wars on Wikipedia. Neon Wars does sort of take on the same genre, but it looks better. :) Geometry Wars came way before Neon Wars.

And there's another difference... Geometry wars is controlled by 2 thumbsticks... while Neon Wars... the Mouse...

I bought Geometry Wars Galaxies on Nintendo DS.
Nothing too spectacular. It has way fewer enemies than Neon Wars. Not bad, but nothing special. It's nice when you're on the go.

One cool thing it has is three modes of multiplayer. Co-op, where you both are on the same field, Simultaneous, where you both play separate rounds for higher score, and Versus, where one person controls the enemies by selecting which type, and tapping the touch screen to spawn them.

It also has connectivity to the Wii. Don't know what it does yet, other than unlock the Lambda area.
