weapon #200? i didn't know that weapons are numbered.. so, i think, we will have to wait for 3 packs (two-15,one-5) till we get weapon 200.

Weapon's aren't numbered, it just refers to whatever weapon happens to be the 200th one to be released.

I bet it would be a big one though... :)

It'll probably be QUITE some time before PT has 200 weapons: the development cycle isn't short, and creating 45 weapons is no small feat. Plus: I can't imagine that these 45 weapons would be brainstormed rapidly. The weapons we've got are awesome, and actually different from each other. Adding another 45 without repeating anything... well, we all know FPS games with less than 30 weapons that don't manage to avoid repeats.

Actually if you have all the weapon packs up to now, you should have 165 weapons, not 155, and thus you only need 35 more weapons instead of 45 to reach 200...

How come all of a sudden the "big" weapon has to be #200? Mike just came out with 2 expansion packs anyway so I don't think he is really worried what #200 will be.

This would be more of a ? for Mike, but does the staff like make their own "joke" weapons that never miss and do like 999 damage? Or something pertaining to that.

In seriousness, however, plans have changed just a wee bit. We don't have any special plans for the 200th weapon in and of itself, but there are some plans. More on this at another time.
