Hi there people, especially those of Blitwise especially Mike.
I'd just like to congratulate you on the success of the games, especially on the indie circut.
I'd also like to say that I was delighted to find out that basically someone made a version of Scorched Tanks for the PC and Direct X, I was even more delighted to find out that it was made by the same guy that made Dx-Ball, (Breakout are one of my favorite type of games, brought up with them on Amiga) then I was EVEN more delighted once again that it was made by the maker of the original Scorched Tanks for Amiga, which was a large part of my childhood, sad, maybe, but after school me and my mates would go on the Amiga (still had one on in 2000!) and blow each other to smithereens, with those cool little animations that the tank would shake and rattle thump, explode or sometimes be assumingly kidnapped by aliens from outer space with a tractor beam.
The above animations I do kinda miss.
But I also miss my favourite (NASTY!) strategy in Scorched Tanks, I would fire the Pile Driver and Crimson Flood and trap my foes until the pressure of the solid flood would crush them (sometimes I was so merciless I would also fire a Sound Blaster down there).
So, could someone help me out? Are these weapons in Pocket Tanks or are there weapons with a similar function. Because these made the game awesome.
I kinda miss buying weapons from the shop with the money I earnt, and buying cool deflecting shields, I still use WinUAE to play Scorched Tanks often.
I know that Blitwise is making a new Artillery game as of now, but just incase this is Pocket Tanks 2, please implement these amazing features again.
But make the shop optional, like a easy mode with the old Pocket Tanks choosing method and a experienced mode more like the shop in Scorched Tanks.
That would make all the Pocket Tanks players who haven't played Scorched Tanks have a whole new experience and revamped nostalgia for us that have.:D
I'm new here, so If I've posted this in the wrong section of the forum, feel free to move it to the right section.
:p
