It has become quite clear to me that bouncy dirt is obviously more of a defense weapon that an attack.

Pros:
-----------------
Bouncy wall: Actually good if u land it behind them.

Bouncy bomb: Kinda works too since if u miss the weapon may not jump all the way out of the created hole.

Cons
-----------------
Bouncy dirt: Covers the ground near your opponent, so if u miss even by little, your weapon bounces far away!

Molten Plastic: Burries the person in bouncy dirt, so if they have any form of dirt mover, they can safely move aside the bouncy dirt in their shooting sight, and gain the advatage of being surrounded by a substance that eliminates any close misses of enemy shots!

I dont count shelter in my list because that is obviously a good defense and in no way controversial.

When I play the computer, on many occasions I have used bouncy dirt offensively to my advantage.

If the enemy is in a deep hole, I hit the side opposite me with bouncy dirt. On the next turn I can fire the exact same shot with a different weapon and it will likely hit the enemy.

But, I also agree that it can be effectively used defensively.

But if they are on flat ground though, it doesn't do a whole lot to help yourself.

If you use shelter while faceing a comp there will get a shot just perfectly to make it destroy your whole thin and hit u

I agree Bouncy Dirt is useful if you shoot it in a hole, but it's now much easier to do that with stuff like Bouncy Bomb or Funnel. The trouble is you can't really do that with Molten Plastic or Bouncy Ball, since shooting them in a hole 'fills it up' (They still have to blow themselves out but everything you shoot bounces off). On the up side they actually do some damage, so they can be fun to cause chaos with ;) Shelter actually works as long as you point it somewhere where they can't fire into it (i.e. down. Underground attacking, anyone?). Wow I rant a lot D:

i think bouncey dirt doesn't do anything for the comp because hes got you on target allready and is gana hit you.

I like getting on the edge of a cliff and using a shelter with the opening pointing straight at the enemy tank. The CPU doesnt understand straight-line shots.
