Has anyone else ever checked out Mike's old graphix prog. "Plasm".
Sometimes its fun just to mess around with. It's on his old scorched tanks page.

Believe it or not, my coding the plasm demo was what inspired all the fire and water effects Pocket Tanks. It's amazing what you can do with a simple real-time blur effect. Now if only I could work out a fast real-time water effect that allowed for true water flowing and pooling on the terrain.

Wow, it's good to know where the inspiration came from. Well done. :)
Real water effects would be pretty thrilling. That could spark a few possibilities for new weapons too, if it ever came to exist. :D

Well, at the moment, water particles just bounce downhill. Real water effects would act like real life water, with smaller particles and liquid-like properties.

Sounds pretty intense...
SO i take it you'd expect that from snow and fire particles as well?

Does it really matter?
I'm sure there's a thread cut off eventually.
